I remember when I first met my hubby and the first time he saw my bedroom. I had just become a fan of Rufus and I had managed to get my hands on a very large picture of Martha meet Frank, Daniel and lawrence. (I think I begged a man from my local video store, he wasn't bothered though as he had no idea who any of the actors were and he was going to bin!! the poster anyway). Rufus is stood in the background behind Monica Potter with the other two actors (I still have the poster in my attic) but I cut Rufus out and got it made bigger in a photocopy shop. So then I had a very large (blurry because I'd made it so big) picture of Rufus as frank. Anyway I blue tacked it onto my bedroom door and my boyfriend (now my Hubby) said it freaked him out because everytime he opened his eyes when he slept over at mine he saw Rufus looking at him. When we moved in to gether the picture got put in the attic. It wasn't untill the other day when I looking for something in the attic that I remembered (because i found it in a bag, its faded now). Anyway I thought I'd share that memory as it made me smile.

What a wonderful story, Dippy! Perhaps on your anniversary some year you could put the giant blurry Rufus up on the door again just for laughs.

Funny you should mention that Judy I mentioned the picture to my hubby who pretended to have forgotten so I threatened to put it back up and he laughed. Then he said "I'm sure you could get a better picture now he's more widely known. I think thats he way of saying that he would be okay with it, (don't you?)

When I first met Rufus F2F in Sheffield, I bought a poster. Turns out they didn't sell them in London, so I felt fortunate to get one. Don't know why they didn't, it's a very nice design. I had it framed & yes, it's hanging in our bedroom. In a tasteful corner. ;D Dennis & I loved Cold Comfort Farm & a friend sent me this poster. It's hanging in our stairway, which is now spackled & painted. I should take a new photo, because the wall looks awful, but you get the idea. We have lots of artwork hanging in the house. These are the only Rufus-themed pieces, just so you know we're not obsessed. Rai

Very nice ladies. I may need to invest in some Rufus artwork to place on my walls. Thanks for the inspiration!
