Well done Nell and Annie and a big thank you for sharing your evening with us. About the jacket Nell, do you remember when Roof appeared on the Breakfast show, how we disagreed about the colour of his jacket ? I wonder if it is the same one? I was only talking to anniem about that on the night Frannie. It looked like different material this time though. Maybe he has a whole wardbrobe of magic colour changing suits ;D |

So nice to hear Nell and Annie had such a fun time and another lovely visit with Rufus (plus kisses!-yay)
Really appreciate you asking those great questions, Nell. I'm wondering if Rufus' reply that they might do more Zen may have meant filming more Zen episodes (past the ones already planned) with screenplays adapted from the novels, and not necessarily original stories (though that could be a possibility). If the first three ep series becomes a big hit--that should be enough incentive for the producers to want to make more I hope. We have some veteran campaigners around here that could help lead fan support for Zen if need (esp. if a little birdie in future tells us Roof would like to do more), don't we? It didn't work for EH, but I think we can all agree now that was a good thing.
Maybe Ushers or The Sea will happen...eventually. I recently rewatched my old dvd of Unfaithful and in the special features it mentioned he had wanted to make an American after seeing a french film version years and years (decades?) ago. Even the featurette of the last thing I saw Bill Nighy in--whoops, Bill Irwin in (sometimes confuse them as they look alike) Rachel Getting Married--they mentioned how it took a very long time to get made. It seems it's rather novel when a project gets started and take flight. Thanks for the report Nell and Annie!!

Thanks for the enlarged pics GE2 Rufluvr - that's exactly what I took Rufus to mean. I can't remember the exact words he used but I was saying what a shame it was that there would be no more books. He said the writers may create more Zen stories though. What great news hey ! |

Yes, that's his girlfriend, Ami. She was also with him on the red carpet at the New York premiere of The Tourist.
