I can't believe I've watched the Calpol advert so many times and not realised that it was Rufus doing the voice over. I'm throughly ashamed of myself, and will go stand at the back of the class.  |

You know, it's weird. Every time that advert came on I stopped what I was doing and watched it. I couldn't work out why, but now I know.
There were cough medicine adverts on the underground with a guy in them who looked like Rufus. I kept wondering if it was. Does anyone know? I can't recall the name of the medicine but it wasn't one of the kiddie ones.

It made me too! I was waiting for him to show his face and suddenly heard his voice out of nowhere! Pleasant surprise indeed!  I love how he says "protective"....so sexy. |

Gosh, it's a while since I've heard that! The first time, I was on the computer with the TV on behind me, and suddenly heard him. Niiiiiiice surprise! Needless to say, I only heard it about once more after that. Thanks, Meg.

Awww! Thanks for bumping this back up Kate. I remember I was so excited to find the link to the ad and make my first half-"contribution" to the board. I'm so happy someone thought to post it to youtube. I can't believe I was only a 12 day old Rooftopper at the time! That's kind of cute ;D
Btw, the "Oh Rufus Sewell...best voice ever" comment was me ( ;D I forgot I was logged in to my sister's account), and I could be wrong, but I think the "velvet tones" comment might belong to LTM. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.
