Hi, just wanted to introduce myself I first noticed Rufus when the BBC trailer for Charles II: The Power and the Passion was screened a few years back. (In fact it cost me crockery as I dropped the plates I was holding!) "WHO is THAT? I'm sure I've read your intro. before somewhere. Did you ever post on a TV forum ? Still, I'm sure lots of people had a similar experience when they first saw Rufus in that trailer ! Welcome to the Rooftop !

No I haven't ever posted on a TV forum. You'll find me on a Sealed Knot regimental forum cos I'm a re-enacter and on a Hurdy Gurdy forum cos I'm saving up to get one and learn to play it...and on Facebook, but that's all.

Welcome to the rooftop, Lisa ! I saw Rufus at first in Middlemarch, then in The Taming Of The Shrew. These are among my favourites. And, of course, The Woodlanders, In a Savage Land and also Victory.... Have much fun!

Hi Anniem, I was wondering about this myself. It would have been around the Charles II screening obviously, and I was thinking maybe I did post it somewhere and have forgotten about it! It was just a funny thing to happen and they where only Ikea plates ;o)
Just watching Count Adhemar sneering at William Thatcher's 'antique' armour ;o) Yummy

Lisa , get hold of In a Savage Land , and a very delightful young Roofie in A Man of No Importance . Just keep looking out for his work. He never lets you down. and whether it 's dark creepy or light and frothy. His acting is always of the best As for his looks they get better and better.

Hi Lisa, just want to say hello. I joined in January and love it on here. I got hooked on Rufus at the same time as you when Charles II was screened on tv in 2004 but am ashamed to say my interest faded a bit because I didn't seem to hear a lot about him for a while. When he turned up in the Holiday I swooned and now everything has really taken off with Zen. Like a lot of others I am catching up and so enjoying all the DVD's I have not previously seen. Look forward to sharing stuff with you on here. Have fun fellow Rufaholic!
