I think we've had that one before, but it's so sweet. Thanks for bringing it back up!

A heads up for all the UK ladies (and those that get UK tv) Zen is to be repeated on BBC(HD). The 3 episodes show on consecutive nights starting Wednesday 4 January it's on at 10.30.
How about all those that can set it to record and spread the word? I know we've all got it on disc now but wouldn't it be great to repeat those viewing figures again? Just saying.............

Good idea! I can only watch online, so I'm not sure if I can contribute to the viewing figures, but I'd love to see Zen get good ratings again!

Great News! Perhaps this will create more attention to a renewal of Zen now?

That is interesting. It was about a year ago it ran the first time. Maybe the ratings will be high. Funny, I just watched Vendetta yesterday.

Very interesting news re: Zen and the BBC. Could it be a way for Danny Cohen to save face? I hope the numbers are as good as they were last year.

I hope the numbers are as good as they were last year. I don't think they will be, sadly, Joyce. It's on the HD channel, which is a minority BBC channel. I just came across this, which I hadn't picked up on before, posted by BBC Worldwide on 28 November, regarding BBC output in South Africa: BBC Entertainment gives viewers their first chance to see internationally-acclaimed drama Zen, a stylish new detective series from the makers of Wallander. Rufus Sewell (A Knight’s Tale, The Illusionist) stars as author Michael Dibdin’s character Aurelio Zen, in a lavish production set against the decaying grandeur of Rome. www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/worldwide/281111crackers.htmlBBC Worldwide were promoting it heavily even after it was axed, but in allowing a repeat run in the UK maybe DC's been forced to acknowledge its popularity at last? It'll be interesting to see if this sparks off more debate on the pages of Radio Times and elsewhere - then DC can claim to be responding to viewer wishes when he....(shhhhhhh, hold that thought! )

I'm hoping for some more debate. It may not lead to more Zen, but it'll be certainly interesting to follow.

I found this page on the BBC website with links to clips and interviews. Most if not all of us will have seen the interviews before but here's the link anyway www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00x9x43

Sunday Times - Culture Magazine - 01.01.2012
Looking through the culture magazine I saw a little paragraph under television review 2011 regarding Zen.
Just wondering - am I allowed to type out what it says? I'm not sure due to copyright etc. I'm not sure if it is online anywhere?
