As joyce mentioned above, they do end up in bed in the books, so i'm very happy that the trailer seems to have them doing just that!! In fact Cabal has one of my favourite passages - when they are in bed and Aurelio gets called into work (he's on night roster and has a pager which goes off at an inopportune time) before they've had chance to um, finish. There are some very "interesting" lines about his particular state of mind/body (& hands) as he's sitting talking to the archbishop in St Peters Square. I'll be interested to see if that scene is included on Sunday night and how Rufus plays it!!!
And yes, it probably is true that female FBI agents in the US are probably instructed (on TV and in real life) to tone down any hints of sexuality they may have, as opposed to secretaries in italian police departments!!!

Methinks you're right about that , Numbat! Defnitely looking forward to the next episode and the 28 days of replays on iPlayer. Did I forget to thank you for ExpatShield today, Judy?

That's one of the special things about The Rooftop. We look out for each other around here and share the goodies that we've found! Now I just wish we could find an equivalent program that would work on a Mac.

Hello - I'm new here (if not new to Rufus's charms and talents). I review for a UK TV blog and drooled/reviewed Zen last night. Hi, Jothehat, Welcome! Excellent review, and I also enjoyed your earlier lustbox post. ;D Keep up the great work! I can't take the credit for that particular lustbox I'm afraid (it was one of the posts that I first read on the blog though!) - I would have to refer you to my lovely co-blogger Inkface.

Well, as far as Agent Rachel Young goes, I think both the character and the actress lacked any hint of sexuality and/or seductiveness.'( Yeah , that what I think too..... Rachel is a cold fish . AND that is why NUMBAT, I don't think they will last . AND why I think lovely Jacob is going to end up hurt AND holding the baby . AND I am glad somebody agrees with me. AND THIS IS NOTHING TO DO WITH NUMBAT'S FANTASTIC WRITING

Frannie, Frannie, Frannie.... Thanks for the link to the female gazing post, Jo. I'm particularly fond of, as she puts it, "Hunk-eee"

The point that you continually seem to miss is that if everything i've written hasn't convinced you otherwise, then i've patently just been wasting my time. The point i was trying to make yesterday with the question i posed as to the likelihood of Kate and Petruchio actually making it long term, was that all relationships need work. But i (or is it you) am clearly flogging a dead horse here. Now shall we have the same old conversation where you say you were only stirring and people are just too serious around here? ? Added: Putting on my moderators hat, this conversation should probably be continued in the fanfiction thread (if it needs to be continued at all). I'm quite sure other people don't want to get involved in this old chestnut again and it's not at all relevant to Zen.

I've watched Vendetta several times now, and I don't know why this just struck me today: So are we supposed to believe that Mama went out the fire escape?! I have to say, I just cannot see that happening. Did I miss something in that scene?

Hahaha, of course!!! That's why she couldn't clutter up the apartment with all her old furniture from Venice (which as i recall blocked the fire escape in the book). It's so she could get up and down it!!!!
That would have been a scene i'd liked to have watched - the pair of them hotfooting it down the fire escape!!! ;D
