Hello, I am Lin. I have been reading the site (Lurking ? ) since October. I am a long-time admirer of Rufus ( privately call him Topaz Eyes ) and did not realise that such fun sites exist until I found you in October. Loved him in Charles II, pride and passion, and in the Taming of the Shrew. Had a bit of a Ruf-fest over Christmas, as there were four films on T.V. with him in, and recieved two (different) D.V.D.'s as C/M presents! And now Zen!!! Sighhhhh!!!!

Hi, Lindragon! We're glad you decided to join us! (I lurked for several months myself, a couple of years ago, but have never regretted signing in that first time.) I hope you enjoy yourself, especially with all the great new photos and interviews in the Zen thread.

Hi, Lin, and welcome. You've joined at a time of great Rufus riches. Charles II and TOTS are my favourites, too. Which DVDs did you get?
Enjoy exploring!

Thank you, both. Really enjoying all the news. I was given 'Gone to seed' and 'Tristan and Isolde', and bought ' A Man of no Importance'. 'Paris' and 'PotE' will be purchased shortly, along with 'Zen'. I loved 'T & I'. MDH and I have not had T.V. for great chunks of time, as we have done a lot of house renovations. As well as being expensive, and taking lots of time, it KILLs electronic appliances v.quickly. I am now playing catch-up, and having a wonderful time.

Welcome to the Rooftop! TOTS is one of my favourites too, and I must confess I'm the tiniest bit jealous of you getting "Gone to Seed" for Christmas because I haven't succeeded so far in hunting down a Region 2 copy. But I won't give up trying Have lots of fun here!

Welcome Lin
I think most of us lurked for a couple of months at least before taking the plunge and joining the gang. There's a really nice bunch of people hang out here. I think you'll fit in really well.
You mentioned my 2 favourites in there TOTS and Charles 2, I can see you are a discerning lady.
See you around.
Nell

Welcome, Lin! I am also lumped into the 'lurker' category - I have 2 accounts, I signed up in May 2008 but never came on, now I can't remember my password for it Have fun!
