These are hilarious!!! Fantastic job, everyone! For this one normally I'd suggest it symbolizes "rueful," but some fool has already used that as a proper noun. ;D So maybe it is the symbol for rugretful: A Rooftopper's reaction when she realizes she's shown signs of Rufusitis. symbolizes rufous: an actual word meaning "reddish" symbolizes RUFL: Rooftopper Utterly Floored with Laughter symbolizes rufysteria: a level of Rufus-related excitement so extreme that its intensity can only be represented by a dancing banana

Absolutely hilarious everyone! May I add a few? roofed: The state you're in after catching Rufusitis. <concerned loved one>: "What's wrong? Your eyes are glazed over and you're drooling." <you>: I've been roofed. ruffled: (pronounced Roo-ffled) What we get when we get news or new pictures of Rufus! Rufuianism: What we have when we come up with a new Rufus word!

Much as I hate to correct a moderator, Rueful, BUT:
rugretful is the reaction of a rooftopper when she realizes she's missed a Rufus viewing opportunity.
We NEVER mind showing signs of Rufusitis. Oh, wait, you mean when we show signs to so-called normal people???

Is the dictionary only about words that are directly derived from the name Rufus or shall we give some room to other strange, Rufusitis-related things too? I've come to call sleepless nights "Nick Silver nights", for example Or should we open a therapy room for outlandish phenomena like that?

....look at us Professor Rufus will be so proud by the time we handed him the full dictionary ....he's not an inspiration for nothing!!! Along the line: I know "LOL" but don't really know what's "ROFLMAO" (except that it's a joyful expression all the ladies express ;D)....but I thought to give it a rufusness, can it be "ROOFLMAO" and wonder what the extra O stands for? ;D

Or should we open a therapy room for outlandish phenomena like that? Hmmm, I can just imagine the oil scents would be: " Would you like to be induced with Tender Marke or invigorating Petrucchio to day?" What ever choosen, it is sure be Rufalicious!!!!!

A good doctor takes his time with his patients so that they feel all safe and well-respected, doesn't he? The only way to cope with the long wait will be many many pictures in the waiting area to drool over (and a resident cleaner who regularly mops the puddles off the floor ).
