There's an interview from The Times magazine Rufus did in August 2001 (when he was promoting A Knights Tale) where they talked about Dangerous Beauty- the quote there is:
'Another of his films, The Honest Courtesan, he wound up panning after it was renamed Dangerous Beauty - a detail that he discovered in the middle of an interview. "My reaction was 'f****** bollocks'. But I didn't say that about the film because I didn't want to get told off." Unfortunately his remark that the title sounded "like an amalgamation of 50 Demi Moore films that no one would want to see" was applied to the entire film. "So, that was a little bit unfortunate", he says. ;D
The pictures in the magazine are the ones that photographer Pat Pope took - I'm sure they're on the forum somewhere, along with the scanned interview (I'm sure GE2 knows where they are!!)

Thanks for finding where he said that, Cazbaz. I think he's commented on it a few times. As for the Pat Pope pics, I don't think we have them here, or not in a specific thread (they were certainly on the old roofsewell site). However, I do happen to have them, so I guess I'd better dig them out and post them sometime!  |

 thanks for posting PGG and GE2. For some reason this snail on crutches I am operating will not allow me to read the article so that I have to look forward to when I get home. Lovely pics though - I love the shoes too and the hair I think I quite clearly remember Rufus stating he would not go to see a musical in case he enjoyed it - haha I wonder if he did. We may get to see him in The Wizard of Oz yet Re the comments on the changing of the name to Dangerous Beauty. I do remember reading he said when he heard about the change he thought Oh F*** Off !!!!! |
