Welcome, Red - glad you've joined us Rufaholics! You will love it on here where we all enthuse about our favourite actor. Like you I have been a fan of Rufus for years but only found this site in January. My favourite role of his is Petruchio in TOTS but like us all I love everything he does. I am having lots of fun catching up on all the dvd's of his films and everyone on here shares so much information and pics and news. The girls are very clever on here and someone will help you sort out an avatar. Looks forward to seeing you around the site!

Welcome to the board, Arkansasred! I think we all on the board were hooked by Rufus's performance one day - mine was Middlemarch and the The Taming of The Shrew.
I'm no specialist, but as far as I know, you need an URL for an avatar. So if the photo you'd like to use is already online, there's no need to open a flickr or photobucket account for this. But if the URL you use disappears (e.g. the homepage you took it from does not exist any longer) or if you intend to post some of your own pics, you should consider to open such an account.

Hiya Red, Welcome to join the fun! I saw T&I this week - it was on telly - and I'm sorry, but it didn''t make my top five.

Sorry this is a little late, but welcome, Arkansasred! Rufus was fantastic in Pillars of the Earth, wasn't he? Hard to believe that the same man could play a 12th century stone mason and then turn around and play a modern Italian detective, and be utterly convincing in both roles. No wonder we love him! I hope you have fun exploring all the media and joining in the conversations.
