A Hello to all. I have been been viewing you lovely ladies for some time and today I decided to join you. I have been a Fan of the gorgeous Rufus for sometime. Going back to 21 with Patsy Kensit, as drug addicted Bobby (My boyfriend at the time had a thing for Patsy) and have been hooked ever since. I have loved him as Will, in Middlemarch, Mick, In a Savage Land, over sexed Seth, Cold Comfort Farm, and playing one of my favourite artist Mark Gertler in Carrington. Of course I have to mention Charles II and my favourite, The Taming of the Shrew, Tom Builder in Pillars and now with the brilliant Aurelio Zen. I am 20 minutes for King's Cross so I am often in London. Being an Artist I visit the Tate, National and the Royal Academy for exhibitions. I do love London, I was born here, and I have to confess for the last 15 years, I always carry a camera and a postcard of Rufus in my bag. Just in case I spot him but still no lucky in meeting the elusive Mr Sewell. I look forward to getting to know you Love xxx  |

Welcome ophelia  Glad you decided to unlurk and join in the fun. I've only recently joined after rediscovering Rufus in Zen. I can't say I've really been a fan of him until I saw him in Zen, but I remember that everytime I stumbled upon him for the last 15 years or so I fell a little for him, but sadly it never lasted until now. When I saw him in Zen it hit me like a bullett ;D Lucky you living so close to London, which is one of my favourite cities in the world. I love to go to the theatre and London is the best place for it IMHO. I so wish Rufus will be on stage soon again. Looking forward to see you around the board |

Frannie I see you are from Penarth. Moved to Wales when I was 11. Lived in Milford Haven and studied Art in Carmarthan. Moved back to London when I was 21. My mother still lives in Milford and I go to Wales when I can. I do miss welsh life.

I'm sure you will see Rufus wandering around one day, and at least you'll be ready. A new fan-girl. Fantastic. Welcome to the madness. I visit London regularly as well and I always carry paper and a pen (my phone has a camera) just in case I meet him. I have met him once but I wasn't prepared, I had been to see him in Rock and roll and I forgot to take a pen (did get a pic on my phone though). He was lovely to me even though he was obviously rushing off somewhere.

Living this close to London? I'm green with envy. I love that city and I need my London fix at least once a year. (And I always stay at one of the many hotels near King's Cross)
I would love to know what you do as an artist.
