There are so many good scenes to choose from.
The bedroom scene where Petruchio rules is so much fun,
and probably most representative of the characters' relationship
as relating to the whole idea of the movie.
As a woman I have to love the scene at the pool when Kate firmly regains contol of the situation & her positon in the relationship. That's when you realize that they have in effect tamed one another.

It's just that I also like TOTS tremendously, too. I have lots of favorite scenes from Charles II - like the triumphant ride into London and Charles winking at the young girl who has been frantically trying to find a place in the crowd so that she can see him; and the scene where Charles looks out the window at Catherine playing with the dogs in the garden and that sparks his interest in her; and where Charles is dressed in his full royal regalia and addresses Parliament; and I could go on and on...I'm not ready to concede that TOTS is the better film, just extremely likeable! |

I'm capping Chuck currently and I'm having quite a few "you're unbelievably amazing" moments. A couple of weeks ago I was having a "well this whole rufus thing is getting a bit old" spell. And I thought, oh please, not yet! It's too soon to be bored. Must have been a passing faze. I'm feeling quite renewed and fanish again. Chuck does that for me like nothing else.
I love Rufus in that role.

Like I said........there will be another chance to vote for either of these films in future polls!! There are many catagories to use that either or both of these might be in. Of course, whichever one wins this poll, won't be used again. But the ones that don't make this one will certainly have more chances to be chosen!! We just need to give some time for Maxx to do her magic on the winner before we start on another one!!! Charles II is a huge favorite of most of us, so I can't imagine that we will not have a scene of it on the website..........the hardest part of that will be choosing a scene! |

You must be able to see who voted for what as moderator, I don't see that. So which one did you vote for I can't see what people voted for, I can just see who has voted. I voted for She Creature because that's what I was capping the day you put up the poll. I'm coming to think this Rufus-mania is a bit like a sweet first love. You may be distracted and time may pass but it never really leaves you. (see, a few hours of Charles and I'm waxing poetic about the genius once again. :  |

um, maybe it's the list Michelle. Maybe people don't like these films. We have 50+ people here and 11 of them have voted so it must be something they don't like... I know some people don't come around every day, but still it seems like we should be able to do better than 11.
