Maybe it's the location of the poll. Just a thought, but maybe because it's located in the administrative notices and tech help section people don't often look in there, thinking it's just administrative stuff, and don't realize there's a poll included.

You have to forgive me, I was dying to vote for TOTS but couldn't figure out HOW TO! (my kids tell me I'm lame when it comes to anything out of the ordinary on the computer--this Rufus site is my first forum I was brave enough to join, so bare with an old lady!) thanks!

Ok I've voted, and after the elevator scene (which we've all seen many times) I love the airport counter when they're buying the tickets, and Rufus says to the attendant "foreplay"

(bare=bear--I can imagine you woke a few people up with that one...  ) lol! one of my favorites as well... I also like the part when he's comparing her passport picture to her face. There is just something hilarious to me about the look on his face, the fact that you can see he hasn't shaved recently and he's wearing all of that make-up and a skirt... No matter how many times I watch it I have this sort of explosive laugh as it I've never seen it before. |

I agree, practically everything about the movie makes me smile. Meanwhile, Rufus is most likely oblivious to the fact that his "looks" can evoke such reactions.

YAY more votes! It kind of looks like TOTS has a major lead here! How long do you guys think we should keep it going? I'm game on picking the winner and start voting on scenes! Once Maxx says she's ready........we do the next poll! But if you want to keep going a while longer, then that's what we'll do! I think it will be hard to choose a scene! Maxx.......maybe you can tell us about how long you want to keep it........some scenes are shorter than others and that might influence what we would like to see up on the site. There are scenes that are wonderful, but they may be too long.

Okay, I want it to stay short enough so no one comes along and yells at us then demands we take it down. Other than that, my only criteria would be that it needs to be manageable to download. I mean obviously if it's 100 meg it's going to be an issue and defeat the purpose which is to give people a taste of Rufus at his best according to his fans. For me personally, I can put the entire thing up there in a streaming video... we have the space, but I don't think it's a very good idea on many levels. Take your time deciding on the scene. I'm going to be pretty much out of the loop until maybe midweek the week after next beginning tomorrow night. I'll try to check in every day, but I won't be around as I usually am. Oh yeah, someone please shoot me an email if anything happens so I can at least get it up on the website. Thanks! and I vote for the scene that starts with Roof getting up off the couch to chase Shirley up the stairs right up to the point where he drops his trousers and we get a look at her face... if that's one of the choices. or wait... maybe the tour through the house. He's so wonderful in that scene... decisions, decisions crap I'll tell you what, just pick it and then we'll worry about how to edit it down to a reasonable size.  |

Sounds good to me! I will also be offline completely from late Friday night until Tuesday, March 20th.......there is no way I'm lugging a laptop around France and Germany! If I happen upon an internet place, I'll check in........but having both daughters and one's of their best friends, I imagine I'll be fairly busy keeping them occupied!
So I may go ahead and set up a poll for scenes sometime Friday before we leave, if that's ok? You all can vote and talk about the scenes for a week, then some decisions can be made week after next!
How does that sound?

Ok, I've put up a new poll........the only place I could do it was in the Tech section, so I'm asking Uke or Maxx to move it please? We'll vote on these scenes during the next 10 days (since that's how long I'll be gone!!) and then have a winner week after next!
