Gosh, page 3 of your thread already and I haven't welcomed you yet! Sorry for missing this yesterday, Katie - a great big welcome to the gang, and thank you for joining us. TOTS is what sealed my fate, but Charles II is what hooked me - you really do need to see that, Rufus is wonderful in it and is in practically every scene, plus there's a terrific "Making Of..." with it. The Region 2 of Higher Love (aka Uncorked, also At Sachem Farm) comes up on Ebay quite regularly, and is another of my favourites. Do enjoy your time here, and know that you're safe from any eye-rolling !! ;D GE2

Hi Katie
Welcome to the Rooftop. I see you have very good taste my favourites are 1. TOTS and 2. Charles 2. There are too many to list at position 3 that I just can't choose between.
You're right too it is addictive. The amount of times I'm supposed to be looking at something else and i just nip onto the Rooftop for a quick look. An hour later I'm still on here !
I'm sure you'll have loads of fun. It's great looking back through some of the older threads too.

yummy! that pic is actually one of my screensavers.. to assist me when the boredom kicks in!!!! haha! How in the world do you get any work done?! ;D I'll also echo the recommendations for Uncorked. It was the first Rufus movie I watched (on youtube) after my obsession was unleashed by Eleventh Hour, and it's still one of my favorites. Such a sweet film, and it's the kind of character Rufus doesn't get to play often enough. Robela, Kissmekate is right, shirtless Rufus is a screencap from Vinyan (pilfered from GE2, actually!) Vinyan is an excellently acted film, although very difficult to watch. If you haven't seen it, I recommend it. I had issues with the road the director chose to follow at the end, but it is worth it for all the performances.

I found a loop hole and have lots of photo's continuously changing for my screen saver - it's set to 1 minute idle time to get the full benefit I have a saying - where there's a Will there's a way ;D If you've seen Middlemarch you will know just what I mean I also have calendar pages printed off the RT around me. It is very important I have these as I often refer to my calendar Adding Charles 2 to your shopping list is a very wise decision. 4 hours of wonderful performances and extras.

Hi Katie Welcome welcome Here's one I prepared for you earlier!!! www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOXAZt030PUI adored Rufus before I'd even seen TOTS. I saw a photo of him in drag and thought " ", just gotta get that DVD asap. Watched it and he was brilliant and soooo funny. When he turned up at the wedding drunk and "dressed like a Christmas tree" - well that was it, I was a gonna. Have watched it so many times already and will watch over and over again. I find the man so beautiful in every way. Short hair/curls - beard/no beard, who cares - he's just stunning. Those eyes............ Katie - I also like the fact that he is "fussy" about the roles that he accepts. It would be so easy for him just to chase the money. Many actors do. I admire him for that determination to try to accept roles that he is happier with - to the point of not being able to pay his bills!! Don't worry Roof, I've plenty of sandwiches you can have and I promise there will be no arugula within 5 miles Enjoy the Rooftop XX

with difficulty Rueful!! i have them set so they alter every 10 seconds.. maximising my on screen time with all the different Roof characters!!! ha! Nell: cant believe they banned these screensavers at your work, but glad you found a loophole! my IT manager has a pic of his fave model on his laptop.. who funnily enough is the sister of a friend of mine, so he cant say anything to me!!!! Lovemanrs.. thank you for your welcome! thank you for the clip.. i will watch when im home as the very same IT man has blocked you tube for me at work.. just as well i suppose, else i'd always be on it!! like you .. and prob every lady on RT.. i dont care if he has short hair, curls, etc.. he is gorg full stop! he does also seem like a genuinely nice bloke - always stopping to sign autographs, have pictures etc.. and im not so sure if he had turned into a typical 'money chasing actor' that he would be like that .. the fact that he has been fussy and kept his feet rooted makes him the loveable special person we adore! and makes it even more special and exciting when he does a new project as we dont get to see him in too much, and know that he is in it because he really believes in what he is doing and puts 110% into the role. Dippyponge: you are in warwickshire.. so am i.. how funny is that!!!! :-) thank you for your message of welcome! i dont have a husband or boyf.. so no-one to nag me about time i spend on here!! lol! hope to speak soon! thank you again all for your kind messages and pics/clips! hope you are all having a fab day.. speak toyou all soon! much love xx

>:(Welcome to the Rooftop, Katie! Sorry I'm just now getting around to telling you.... I recently joined myself. After I saw Pillars of the Earth, I had to research who he was. I knew I recognized him from other movies, but that was my WHAM! moment. I ended up buying Middlemarch, TOTS, Charles II and Eleventh Hour off Amazon. It's like Christmas when a new dvd arrives - HA! I agree he is beautiful in curls or short hair - I don't think I've ever seen him look bad! Watching the youtube videos of him in interviews (don't you just love his ?), or signing autographs, which show was a genuinely great guy he is, really sold me. There are so many people who are pretty on the outside, but not inside.....he's the total package!
