This is so brilliant, but like the rest of you, I find it heartbreaking to watch. However, I still wish it had a wider audience. I would like the people who spend so much time "killing" with glee in all those violent video games to see it. I don't mean that people who play such games or go to action movies are bad in any way or likely to become terrorists. But in the US, at least, we have such a violent media culture that I think it would be good for people to see the real devastation that such violence causes. Rufus's performance is so real, it's an eye opener.
I'm hoping with the 10 year anniversary coming up, maybe they'll consider issuing it on DVD.

Here is a link to the production company's page on the poem. There's no mention of plans for a DVD. (It seems like a lot of their documentaries are not available.) www.silverriver.tv/broadcast/n-q/911-out-of-the-blue/And here is their contact information. Silver River Brook House 2-16 Torrington Place London WC1E 7HN Telephone +44 20 7307 2720 Fax +44 20 7907 3411 Email info@silverriver.tv Agents only, no unsolicited material please. I don't know if they production company has the rights or the channel it aired on (Five), but I guess this is a place to start.

That's a great idea. It's worth trying!
Or, if that doesn't work, maybe it will be at least shown on TV for the anniversary?

Thanks for that info, Rueful. I believe Channel Five actually commissioned it, so e-mailing them to request a repeat and/or a DVD release might be another option: www.channel5.com/contact-us

Just had a reply from Channel 5's Customer Services: Thank you for your recent enquiry regarding 9/11: Out Of The Blue. While there are no current plans to repeat this programme on Channel 5 on or around 11th September 2011, we have logged your suggestion in our Viewer Enquiries Report and marked it for the attention of all relevant personnel. Please note that, due to an industry wide scheduling embargo, we are unable to provide scheduling information more than two weeks in advance. As far as we are aware, this programme is not available commercially. Ultimately, the decision to release any programme commercially lies with the production company and not Channel 5. You may wish to get in touch with the company that made the programme for us in connection with your enquiry. Their contact details follow:
(then they provided the same contact details Rueful posted)
If there is anything further we can help you with, please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you for your interest in Channel 5.
So it looks like it's worth us bombarding Channel 5 with requests for a repeat, and the production company for a DVD release. Who's up for it?
