Hi! I'm Jo and I'm a newbie to fan forums, so I apologize ahead of time if I break any rules. I've read the warnings, so I'll try not to. I lurked for a week, reading everything. The discussions are fascinating and the screencaps awesome! Nothing like them anywhere else. Rufusitis is a new addiction for me. I got hit with it about a month ago when one of our Canadian channels rebroadcast 'Pillars of the Earth' and I ended up falling for Tom Builder. I shot right out and got every other movie of Rufe's that I could find on Amazon and Ebay. I had myself a Rufus marathon for weeks, what with all the DVDs and whatever I could find on Youtube. I'm only missing a few of the early ones like 'Twenty-one' or 'Citizen Locke'. What an amazing body of work! So varied! The man is a superb character actor and a delight to watch. And so sexy! You ladies are so knowledgeable in your reviews of the films! I don't think I have anything to contribute that you haven't already, so I won't be posting much until I find my feet. But I will be reading it daily because it's so interesting.

Thank you! This site is amazing. The funny thing is that I remember seeing Adhemar in 'A Knight's Tale' back in 2001 and thinking, "Whoa, that guy's hot!" But at that time I was all hung up on someone else, so it didn't really sink in. I'd add Marke to that list of yours, all of whom are my faves too. It's so hard to choose a favorite among all the lovely characters he plays!

So you've decided to join the fun. Good decision. There may be some really mad fangirls out there, but the ladies on the Rooftop are a lovely bunch! My Rufusitis took a similar course - I saw Rufus in Tristan & Isolde some time ago, but it was the Pillars that really got me hooked. When I discovered snippets of his films on youtube and then this wonderful board, I couldn't help but ordering everything I could get my hands on and simply loving every single movie Have fun here, and please don't be shy - feel free to add your opinion wherever you like!
