Zen in Netherland TV

Hi everyone, sorry that it's been a while since I posted here (I tend to drift away to other handsome actors and WW2 veterans you know ) but no worries I do still follow the news on our dear Rufus as well ladies!

So just in time I found out that "Zen" was to be broadcast on Dutch tv. I live in Belgium but I can capture the Dutch national tv there, so lucky me ;D

I was so excited to see it (had missed the broadcasts on BBC) and guess what...after 1 glimpse of Aurelio I was totally in love already
Must say the story seemed a bit complicated in the beginning (all those Italian names were a little confusing but it could be that Aurelio's eyes and voice distracted me an itsy bitsy just a little bit too ) But I absolutely loved this 1st episode.
What a class act Rufus is, he's perfect for this role, and I was so glad to not see him play a bad guy for once.
I am so impatient to see the next 2 episodes ...but oh boy what a huge disgrace that the BBC has decided to end Zen, what a mistake...guess the price cost was in it for something? Cause it's so obvious this was an expensive series to make...the style, the setting in Rome, the costumes, the music ( for an odd reason the piano tune remembered me of a very old series The Persuaders, yes I am that old) Briefly...everything on this series breaths HIGH CLASS. For years I have not seen that on tv...so wishing it was next Wednesday already

Aurelio does have that effect on people, hasn't he? Well, at least you have two more episodes ahead, so enjoy them!

And lucky you indeed to discover Zen just in time. I agree with everything you said about the gorgeous Aurelio. Have fun with the other episodes!

I think the music (or rather the whole intro) was deliberately done in this nice retro style. I loved that very much, too.

choc... I asked ZDF for showing the Zen episodes which showed in UK this January, in Sweden and now in Netherland ( Vendetta, Cabal and Ratking )...

ZDF worked in cooperation with BBC, RAI etc... but is the same procedure as every time... the germans are the last ones.... every time

Of course, WE ALL WANT TO SEE MORE OF ZEN... that's we're fans all fighting for... like on facebook, too ...

That could be a fantastic idea of Rufus' new film company to continue :-*ZEN ...

PGG, sorry for my comment, I understood that you asked those producers/TV geeks if there would be more of Zen. Otherwise, I thought you people are the most organized in the EU, so this with being the last to show thee wonderful episodes came as a surprise to me...

I don't understand that either. When I e-mailed them earlier this year the standard answer was that synchronisation was still ongoing, so I wonder why they keep hesitating about bringing it on

Me, too... it's absolutely unbelieveable.... I can't understand it ....
