Working in legal circles, I hate to tell you how accurate that is! ;D However, "knackers" doesn't = pants. Same general area, though!

Interesting! Somewhat inaccurate, though. Knickers..Ladies pants. Knicker...unit of currency. Knackers...Gentlemans private equiptment ( Kept in Pants ) Knackered...Tired, or broken. Knockers...Ladies equiptment (Resides in Bra ) Knocker...Someone dissing ones abilities. Pants...gentlemans underwear, worn under trousers or jeans. Pants!....said instead of blaspheming. (Knickers!...can be used in same way. Rather old-fashioned). I hope that is clear without being vulgar? ;D

Thanks, Lindragon! I knew the bit about knackers not being pants!
The whole scarf thing is especially funny to me after my most recent trip to London. I found myself noticing all the people on the Tube and on the street and on the bus wearing scarves! And then when I went to the Jubilee Market at Covent Garden there were two vendors I remember (there probably were more) selling the most amazing array of scarves! One had hers priced at 3 for £5 and I'm kicking myself right now for not buying some. I'll need them come October.

Oh, they'll still be there, Judy. No high street is complete without the scarf vendors, these days. ( Don't tend to be the highest quality, though).
