Hello everyone!!! ;D Well,I've been reading every single word you write about Ruf for quite a long time, and today I sort of got invited in twitter to join you.So here I am! Obvious reason...we love the same man! So let me introduce myself.I am Amalia,I live in Greece, almost 23(I am getting old) and a libra. My nick is a pun as you probably realize.Zen(the best tv show I've seen in years) and an F which comes from the greek "eu(it's read F) zin" and means "well being" or "well living".You get to chose!1988 is a year I have to get used to,since I was born in it. I hope I'll get to talk with every single one of you and chat about our king!!! P.S.:I want to see him as the new James Bond!Blind Hollywood!

Welcome, Amalia! You think you're getting old at only 23?!!! Thank you for joining us. Is Zen the first thing you've seen Rufus in? If so, I hope it's not too long until you can watch him in all his other roles. I look forward to seeing you around the boards.

Thank you thank you!!! Well,I don't think I'm getting old,I just like to complain about it! I'm glad I finally joined you and you can be sure:you're not gonna get rid of me that easy! Zen is one of the best things I've seen Rufus in,but certainly not the first.I am a fan since I was 10.I know he hates the "Dangerous Beauty" title(I hate it myself),but that was the first movie I saw him in.And I have to say...when I first heard of the film's name I thought it was about him.It took me a couple of years to accept it was about his co-star.Well...you can't blame me,right? As I said,I want Rufus to be the next James Bond!He has all it takes!!! In Greece he is the kind of actor everyone knows his face, but not his name. And to tell the truth, this is one thing I like about him.I don't like "stars" being kind of trapped in their names.Of course,I don't embrace the idea of people taking him for someone else. Well,I write too much when it comes to Rufus!I think I like him so much because I myself am in this industry and I have the dream of at least meeting an actor like him.Hard to find.Experience talking.

Hello and welcome Amalia. I have loved Rufus as Will, in Middlemarch, Mick, In a Savage Land, over sexed Seth, Cold Comfort Farm. Of course I have to mention Charles II and my favourite, The Taming of the Shrew, Tom Builder in Pillars and now with the brilliant Aurelio Zen. Hello Amalia. I have another girl to love I look forward to getting to know you love Ophelia

Oh Ophelia...this picture is my desktop!!!I'm melting!!!Thank God I'm home alone! Thank youuuuuu!!! The taming of the shrew is my favorite, because he did what he knew he was good at.He was funny after so many years being the bad guy.And when he wasn't bad,he was still wearing clothes from another time.I wonder when will that blessed day be when he will be holding an Oscar! Cool thing:Three days now there is a greek chanel that shows Rufus movies.Zorro(bad hair there),Arabian nights(strange acting choice) and I hope there are more to come. The pillars of the earth rocked during our Easter about a month ago. I loved him in Vinyan because again,he proved how different he can be.Well,I didn't like the end of that film and I am sure you totally agree!I cried for days! Technical problem:Why can't I upload a photo?

Hi Amalia! Welcome to the Roof Top!!! I like you already and I'm so excited there's another member so close to my age (I just turned 22)! I've been a member here just over a month and have settled in beautifully. You seem to have done that already! This is such a fun forum and I'm so happy to be a part of it. I first saw Rufus in A Knight's Tale and how he looked struck me immediately. I said out loud "who's THAT?" and unfortunately, my best friend who was watching with me, turned and said "he's the bad guy. We don't like him." I ended up hating the character for years, but his looks never left me. When I saw John Adams some time afterwards I knew that I knew him from somewhere but still nothing. Finally, it was Amazing Grace that hooked me in and resulted in Rufusitis that's just gotten worse and worse! ;D Don't worry about writing too much -- I do it all the time! I also love that you're a Libra -- I'm a Gemini! See you around the board!!! --Meg xxx

I love saying HELLOOOOOO!!!You all made my day, really!Thank you Meg,thank you Petruchio(you certainly know what you're doing )!!! I have to say I like Rufus in every movie, even though, sometimes I find it hard to believe he chose to do something like this or that. But as he said for himself,he is a choosy beggar.Well,I would love even if he was covered in mud(or something more discusting-if you know what I mean),not just a beggar!Actors like him are born every 500 hundred years! As for "NO CURE AGAINST RUFUSITIS..."...well I don't want to hurt your feelings, but there is.My dad! This man can make you debunk even Frank Sinatra!Just kidding, but you know what they say "In every joke, there is some truth... ;D Guys you really are adorable!

Hi fzen! I would include some photos or at least a special "welcome" image, but I'm in London right now, and my iPad makes that very difficult to do! I'm sure you've checked out the "May 2011 Rooftop Meetup" thread in the Off Topic forum. You'll be able to see photos of some of your fellow Rufus fans! I might be biased, but I think anyone who is a fan of Rufus Sewell is a very special person ... one who exhibits great intelligence and great taste! Have fun checking out all the Rufus goodies here on the Rooftop!
