Francesca, I have The Woodlanders on cassette (sadly it's the abridged version) how did you download to your ipod? Is it available on cd as well?

I downloaded the woodlanders and the Bond books from audible.co.uk. I think it was about £7 . I know that Amazon .co.uk also had it. It was easy to down load from audible to my pc and if I can download from there to my i-pod from there anybody can. If you don't want to buy again I'm sure someone on the board can tell you how to do it. They are real fountains of knowledge .

Dr. Syn is SO much fun to listen to, isn't it?!? You soon forget that it's only one man reading a story, because he does such a great job with the characterizations.

You'll need to download it to your pc/ipod (as per judy's instructions) or listen online.

I'm almost through with the first part of Doctor Syn and I love it. Those over-the-top adventures and this wonderful, wonderful voice. Sometimes it's really hard to believe that all those characters are Rufus - particularly the old witch sounds totally different from his normal voice, you really think it's a woman.

And I'm almost through with the second part now - love it. I listened to it on my way to work - like I did before with Nick Silver.

Its hilarious and thrilling and romantic and Rufus is just awesome playing all these different characters.

I will take the last of Dr. Syn with me to London
