Hi Tipou! Well, I'm not in England right now, but I've been following some of Robson's work (mostly because I've had a crush on him since I was six years old ;D ). Are you talking about Touching Evil? I think that may have been shown a couple of times on PBS, but I'm not completely sure. Nicola has also been in an episode of Being Human (Robson was in a few episodes of the same show, but I don't know if they appeared together at any time). One thing of Robson's you should definitely check out is his "Robson Green's Wild Swimming Adventure" which is in its entirety on youtube. It's fantastic, and it's all centered around him swimming in various places to help train himself to swim a large body of water that holds a very sentimental value to him. I actually found it to be quite inspiring! It can be really raw at times and it even shows him hyperventilating and coming over delirious at one point. I thought it was incredible. One other thing is another reality show of his "Extreme Fishing with Robson Green". Personally, I'm not into fishing shows (or fishing at all), but I fell in love with this. He's so funny and so relateable that it's hard not to like it. Only a few episodes are on youtube, but hopefully more will be uploaded at some point. He's been in Wire in the Blood too, which I've heard is really good, but sadly I have yet to see any episodes shown over here or on youtube

THANK YOU MEG! TOUCHING EVIL that's it. i always wondered if this series might have partly inspired CBS' criminal minds. similar settings, similiar descent into the darkest pits of the human nature. i can understand the crush. nice blue eyes, hey? and some talent too! i remember he was hauntingly good in that series. always thought nicola was spot on in every role i saw her tackle. very efficient and low key acting.

Touching Evil was brilliant! (There was a short-lived US remake with Jeffrey Donovan, but it wasn't nearly as good.)
For something a little more light-hearted (well-there's some drama but no serial killers), Robson Green also starred in Reckless and its sequel (with Francesca Annis and Michael Kitchen), about a medical student who has a relationship with an older woman, and The Prince of Hearts (with Rupert Penry-Jones), about a bodyguard to a university-aged prince. Both were shown on PBS previously.

He was also in a series called "Soldier, Soldier", which was his original claim to fame here.

Robson Green is currently playing a caretaker (janitor) in Waterloo Road, a British TV drama set in a comprehensive school, the series focuses on the lives of the teachers and students and deals with various social issues. Not bad series actually!
I saw him first in Soldier Soldier and loved his character in that, definitely worth trying to find this gem!

Thanks girls -Gosh! This thread is so useful. Lots of info on interesting actors/series! ophelia!! Thanks for posting the video of 39 Steps. I had not seen Rupert Penry-Jones in this, although I seem to think it may have been on tv a few years ago and I did watch it. He is really gorgeous though isn't he! Have you seen him in Persuasion as Captain Wentworth Ophelia? That is lovely - So romantic!! Like my favourite romantic film/book - Pride and Prejudice!

'Wire In The Blood 'was a very good series. Robson Green played a Psychologist, who taught at a University, but also did criminal profiling for the Police. He was very good in it, but I had to stop watching, it got too scary. (Particularly late at night,on my own, living miles from anywhere ). M.O.B. got home late, one night when I was watching an episode. I didn't hear him arrive, and he tapped on the window. I nearly went into orbit!!

Yes Lindragon, I agree about Wire in the Blood. It was a good series but I only watched a few of them because of that. I too was watching on my own and it did get scary! You must have got a real shock when your hubby came in silently without you knowing! Glad you survived to tell the tale!
