Hi Ladyp Welcome to the Rooftop. It sounds like you're in the right place. My hubby once claimed he was going to start up a husbands support group, perhaps your hubby could join too! The best cure is to take him along to meet Rufus and he'll think he's a great guy. My hubby practically encourages me these days Enjoy!!

Welcome to the Rooftop from me too, Ladyp! This is a lovely place to spend time. You will actually spend much more time than you should here, but it is so much fun, exciting and interesting! We are all slightly mad Rufaholics and suffer from never ending Rufusitus! I am one of the older (I hope not the oldest but may be) fans, but I am absolutely I have to admit it (errr slightly!!) obsessed! I have two grown up children and four grandchildren and four step-granchildren. My family are highly amused by my addiction to Rufus! I went to Pizza Express last evening with my daughter and my eldest grandchild Lily-Rose who is 11 and just about to start senior school in September. I was animatedly just mentioning something about Rufus and Zen (I help to run a FB page dedicated to Zen tv series and campaigning to get some more made) but that is another story. They were both giving me shrugful looks and shaking heads and sighing!!! I said to Lily. 'Would you prefer a grandma who sat knitting with slippers and a woollen cardigan by the fire'. My daughter laughed and said 'some chance of that with You and Rufus'. Sorry to go on so much, just wanted to welcome you and say everyone on here is so lovely and so helpful. If you want to know anything just shout out! Zen is one of my favourites as are TOTS, Charles, IASL but as all of us do, I love everything he does. The man is so talented and so good looking. What more could any girl want!! Hope you enjoy the Rooftops as much as we all do!!!

Okay, some of you are curious about how my obsession started... ;)I first saw Rufus as Petrucio and thought how beautiful he was, he took my breath away, think it is the eyes...then met the husband...had children...and poor Rufus was sidelined. :(Then came Zen and that was it, obsessed again . Love him as Agamemnon, what a bad man but love it! Gorgeous as Marke. Have not watched Charles, woodlanders or savage land yet, which do you recommend first? Have to watch them when the husband is out as he has threatened to divorce me, yeah right!

All very good choices! I think others have said In a Savage Land is hard to come by in the UK, but Charles should be available, and it provides many, many hours of Rufus and gave him a great role with many nuances to play. But if you can get IASL too you should, because it's fantastic!

Welcome, ladyp! Glad you joined us. I'd say watch Charles II (I'm only ever-so-slightly biased!) as Rufus is in almost every scene, and this is my favourite character.
Enjoy the Rooftop!

Hello to you LadyP and welcome. I have been a Fan of the gorgeous Rufus for sometime. I have loved him as Will, in Middlemarch, Mick, In a Savage Land, over sexed Seth, Cold Comfort Farm, and playing one of my favourite artist Mark Gertler in Carrington. Of course I have to mention Charles II and my favourite, The Taming of the Shrew, Tom Builder in Pillars and the brilliant Aurelio Zen. Have to watch them when the husband is out as he has threatened to divorce me, yeah right! Like yourself have to watch Rufus when husband not around, as I get rolling of eyes and he questions that I am stalking him and thinks I am seriously unbalanced!!! Enjoy yourself and looking forward to getting to know you. Love Ophelia PS love the man with a beard
