Looks like so much fun! I think it's awesome that your son and hubby are in it too! Thanks for sharing the pictures! Hmmmmmmm lovely thought, but he can't possibly be Zenina's son. Age difference is dubious I'm sure Z will explain.

I think the two men are Zenina's son and hubby only in the play

, thank you ladies for all the comments Just to answer a few questions: Fzen1988 - the lady in the purple dress is one of the main characters. She belongs to the upper class (her stepfather is the man behind the new gas lightning) and she falls in love with one of the main opponents. So in a way it is a bit of a Romeo and Juliet story but with kind of a happy end. The girl who plays the part is 21 and she is very good. Joyce - we have all in all 22 performances left and I will do 11 or 12 but will be mostly present during all performances either to watch and take more pictures or to help in the background. Wichi - it is funny that you say the lady's dress looks like made for me. The same said the woman who is responsible for the costumes. She showed me drawings from fashion magazines from that time and said I look like those women. Maybe I have been living before in that time - one never knows. And like LTMR and KMK said, these are not my real husband and son. Both would be frankly a bit too old. Especially the son. I asked him the other day how old he was (after he learned how old I was). He just said that it was biologically not possible that I could be his mother ;D (I think he is around 40). Oh well I didn't want to write so much but as you can guess I could go on forever with this.

She looks good too!I don't know why,but I always liked stories based on Romeo and Juliet and not the original play.Maybe there is a problem with me! The main character of a movie I'm working on,is called Juliet.Meg knows... Anyways,I wish I could see one of your performances. You definately look great,so I suppose you act great too! I already admire you for being such an artistic person!I hope you have the success you deserve!

Thank you fzen and Ophelia Sadly due to bad weather we had to postpone tonight's performance, that's why I'm here ;D On another note, it looks like I'm going to be an extra in a swiss movie. It's a low budget film but with two very well known swiss actors and shooting will take place next Tuesday. I've never done this before and I'm just curious to see behind the scenes.

Zenina, the play looks great! The excellent results must be very satisfying after all your hard work. My favorite costume is also "the lady with no name." She (you) looks so dignified.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your theater season, and good luck in your big movie debut!

Great pictures - it looks a fabulous production and you must be very talented to play 3 different parts! Hope your swiss film goes well too. Have fun and don't forget to fill us in with all the behind the scene details.

Dear all - yes I'm still here ;D It took me a bit to get over the blues I had after our play had finished two weeks ago. We were such a great group and had so much fun. Some of us have become very close friends - no wonder if you spend so much time together one gets to know each other quite well. We didn't have as many spectators as we wished for (the weather had been really quite bad for about 3 weeks) but this didn't take the fun away. Here are some more pics. A cast member who also performed alternating with someone else took some pics of me during one performance. just before the performance during our daily briefing. a nun in the making ;D waiting for my first scene changing costume on scene ( think I look absolutely dreadful in that costume ;D) And the lady makes an appearance... (I can tell you that hat and wig was a challenge ;D we finally managed to fix the hat to the wig so that I could just pull the wig on as I didn't have much time for the costume change) I hope to be back on the board now and then but I will spend a great deal in the theatre as some of our group has picked several plays (about 15 ) we want to see by the end of this year and then I also applied for another acting course which will be 10 times once a week starting mid October.

Sooo good to have you back, I've been missing you!
Lovely, lovely pics, especially those sepia-tinted ones. Great to hear that your play was a success and you had lots of fun.
Your upcoming plans sound very exciting, too. Have fun at all your theatre activities!
