Oh darn again! I was hoping he would attend just so we would have some new pics. It is great he was nominated for his wonderful performance. Not bad for a 3 epi series. Its nice for him to get the recognition, and not just from us.

Well, I've seen a few minutes of the awards. Ben Miles was there in support of Zen. When the award for Best Actor was announced I couldn't believe it!  It sounded like the presenter said Dual instead of Rufus Sewell  I thought I must have imagined it - then Mr Nell said (incedulously) he said Dual  If I'd been there I think I'd have stood up and shouted "THE NAMES RUFUS SEWELL YOU ..........." Just had to settle for yelling expletives at the TV. Maybe the great man left him speechless Also just seen the TV show nominations - at least Zen got it's proper title. The award went to Case Histories - what the hells that!? It's a shame Rufus didn't go there were a few short snippets of the nominees that went being interviewed. |

Maybe the great man left him speechless I agree with you Nell on this, at first I thought I mis-heard his name, but then I rewound it and it does sound like he is saying Dual? Also just seen the TV show nominations - at least Zen got it's proper title. The award went to Case Histories - what the hells that!? I really enjoyed Case Histories, it starred Jason Issacs and although each week it was a different case being investigated, it also showed the problems he had in his personal life, the biggest being his ex-wife wanting to emigrate from Scotland to New Zealand with his young daughter, whom he was very close to. |

I missed the start of the programme (good job Rufus wasn't there - phew!), but at least the host referred to all the Best Actor nominees as "acting legends."
(And I was hopping up and down because I thought Rufus was only referred to as "Sewell")

yes he was referred to as sewell which i thought was very rude. At least Rufas and Zen were nomminated. Actually they should have won.
