Forgot to say... posting pictures that are already up on the Internet is still not safe, I'm afraid.
If the source site has posted the picture illegally you are repeating the infringement. If they've posted it legally (i.e. paid a fee to the copyright holder) it doesn't entitle you to post it elsewhere without paying another fee. So we should stick to links for pictures, too.

My understanding of reproducing copyrighted material is that you must change the content or parts 60%, so that means summarizing articles is best & we could also draw in mustaches & beards on Roof's likeness & cut & paste different clothes on him & we would be safe......& maybe we could change him to a blonde too. |

Okay, Uke and I have discussed it and we're going to try screen caps provisionally. For the moment, let's steer clear of anything taken professionally by a photographer.
We think we need to go slowly here and test the waters.
So for the time being, let's just stick to things we've either made ourselves or have been made by someone we know.
If you have articles or stories or professional photos, for now keep them to a link addy.
If you've got something that you have a question about it, PM one of us and we'll let you know.
