thank you megagem in the beginning of the episode, it is really funny to see that the lady wants to know everything about him but for me it seems she doesn't believe what dr. Hood tells her. She might take his words as signs of a flirt ;D ;D ;D

this isn't the right place for it, but i don't have time to go over to another thread, so - has anyone lost sleep (or gone to sleep with a smile on their face) over the little 'scar' to the right of and just slightly below his perfect nose? i'm assuming it's a scar and wondering if it's lifelong and what caused it. it's just another perfect imperfection - and with a mystery attached (at least for me) if you haven't noticed it, take a good look at the last photo above.

I think most of us have been wondering about that at some point, Anglophile Some of our fan fiction writers came up with some creative ideas in their stories. My guess is some kind of childhood accident, as it already there in his very early films. There's another one through his left eyebrow, you can see that (among others) in the second pic from the top.

Thanks Meg - you remind me of how generous Jacob Hood was a few days ago when I had a bad cold (and it was that time of the month) - I had an early night in bed with my dvd-player and of course doctor Hood. Perfect cure for almost anything!

Thanks, Meg. These are fantastic! (Rufus should be compelled by law, or royal decree, or something, to wear a tux in public at least once a week.) anglophile, we once had a little thread discussing some of his "imperfections" (there was some debate as to whether they should be classified as such or not), although later it sort of evolved into another excuse to insult James Franco. www.rufussewell.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=other&action=display&thread=996&page=1 No one seems to know where the scars come from, but they are intriguing.

Yaay Meg! No wonder you couldn't find a post that had a link to my "Savant" screencaps. I didn't specifically call the episode by name! I was keeping it as a kind of surprise for Wichiwoman, since she especially loves Rufus in a tuxedo. Here's the link to the post (which contains the link to my Photobucket album containing a few gazillion screencaps from Savant): rufussewell.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=11hour&thread=1159&page=1#69161

Rueful is aboslutely right! To heck with that "Jobs Bill" crap. I say we U.S. fangirls start writing our Congress people to have some really worthwhile legislation passed - The Rufus Sewell Tux Act. And you fangirls in the UK should start petitioning Parliment.

You're welcome everybody! Thank you for adding the link, Judy! I'm sure you can imagine what I thought when I didn't see one! "Where is it? Where is it?? There's NO cap thread for Savant?! But he's in a TUX!" I was afraid ProBoards had forbidden it for some reason! LOL! Anyother, I really hope you're feeling better now. I definitely know how you feel. For some reason the last few times I've gotten a cold has always been during that time of the month. It's funny, I'm usually not a fan of seeing a man in a tux. It just looks so confining to me, but with Jacob you're all right in saying there ought to be some sort of petitioning going on! This is one of the best episodes and definitely one of the most dramatic, IMHO. It has some of my favourite Jacob moments in it too (the tux, sitting on the floor drawing on the mirror with Theresa, realizing the piano notes matched the noise of the machine, figuring out Theresa's graffiti message, when he tells Bonatelli like it is: "what happened to Scott Butler isn't research. It's murder." , when he gets pissed off at the CIA guy, and then what he says to Fisher about Noah: "Who are you to say he needs fixing? Just because someone's brain works a-typically doesn't mean they can't experience happiness, or thrive on their own terms." Then his sweet smile at the door near the very end when Rachel says he's sensitive makes me melt every time. Oh Jacob, why can't you be real???

Meg - agree that Savant was one of the stronger episodes. And yes, the looks on Jacob's face (which you so nicely captured in your caps) when he realizes the piano notes match the machine and the utter, utter distain on his face when they confront Fisher are amazing. He manged to convey so much emotion with those looks.
