"Jobs Bill" crap. I say we U.S. fangirls start writing our Congress people to have some really worthwhile legislation passed - The Rufus Sewell Tux Act. And you fangirls in the UK should start petitioning Parliment. LOL! That's right, we have our priorities! I agree with you, Meg and Joyce, that Savant was a good episode. I wish it had been shown first or second (along with Agro), because I thought it was much better than either Resurrection or Cardiac. I enjoyed both Resurrection and Cardiac on a Rufus level, but I thought the plots (or at least the resolution) of both were ludicrous. That might have turned off potential viewers who weren't as drawn in by Rufus as we were (do such people exist?). Normally, if I see two stupid episodes of a show in a row, I've had enough.

Rue - I totally agree with you about Cardiac - it's on my list of the episodes that fall apart if you think about it. I mean honestly, that kid was able to switch samples before they were tested?? In each and every case? ? But I thought Resurrection was very well done with a fairly decent resolution. It's one of the few episodes written by Stephen Gallagher and I think those were the standout episodes. Besides, it has a really good "yelling" scene for Rufus. And yes, there are a few, deluded souls out there who can withstand the allure of Rufus. They are called "Franco Fans."

...I was keeping it as a kind of surprise for Wichiwoman, since she especially loves Rufus in a tuxedo. ... ... Wait....I feel a prediction coming......Yup! I predict Wichi will have a new Rufus avatar very very soon! ;D (In fact, I'm mighty surprised she doesn't already!) Photobucket and me are mortal enemies. I don't think it likes Jacob in a tux. So I'm not going to give it anymore reasons to hate me!

I absolutely agree. I think Agro would've been better as the pilot episode and Savant as the next, then maybe have Resurrection and Cardiac sprinkled in between the really good ones, because when you have good ones to start off with, the appearance of not-so-good ones are forgiven, I think. I totally agree that Resurrection and Cardiac are both fantastic Rufus-wise (and I agree with Joyce, it gave us a great Rufus yelling scene ;D ), but the endings definitely fall flat. You're exactly like me, Rueful, but sometimes I'm not even generous enough with my attention to watch one episode of a show that's new to me. If it hasn't grasped my attention by the first commercial break at most, I'm done. I hate to think it, but it really wouldn't surprise me if using those episodes in the beginning did indeed turn off some potential viewers. It's definitely possible. It's a bit saddening to think of it, but it's possible.
