Anybody watch it tonight? Absolutely brilliant - if a tad confusing at times. Oh, well - I'll just have to watch it again. Benedict Cumberbatch is just as superb as last year. Ooops - the year before!

It was only shown last night, Kate, so it should be - programmes are usually on i-Player for 7 days after transmission, but this might be on until the 3-part series ends.

Loved last night's new episode it was very clever! I love the relationship between Sherlock and Watson - it's so sweet. Don't want to spoil it for anyone so won't mention specifics but there were some very funny moments too.

I'm looking forward to watching some time this week, maybe even today. The humour was one of the things I loved most about the first season (one of my favourites was the skull - or was it a complete head - in the fridge ).

There's something else weird in the fridge in the first episode!

Judy gave us that tip last year so we could watch Zen in the US as it was broadcast on the BBC. It's at www.expatshield.com and I've used it many times here to watch other BBC shows on iPlayer with no problem.

Watched the first episode of series 2 - "A Scandal in Belgravia." I'll have to watch it a second time, I'm not sure exactly what I think of it. I do have to say I thought the resolution to the cliffhanger of series 1 was rather lame. Overall - not a bad adaptation of the original story - laughed at the part where Sherlock and Watson are united in horror at Mycroft's rudeness to Mrs. Hudson.
One thing they do continue to do well is to translate how the stories would work in the modern day - with John's blog drawing attention rather than the "little monographs" he authored in the original. I thought the references to the other cases - "The Geek Interpreter" and "The Speckled Blonde" amusing.

Finally found a way to watch this. They surely know how to keep the plot twists coming. I'm not sure if I got all the details, but the story kept surprising me. (I'm with Joyce on the cliffhanger, though.) What I absolutely love about the series is the humour of it. All the witty little punch lines and the main cast's eccentricities and the little references to the original, like the blog titles Joyce mentioned or the snapshot of Sherlock wearing that cap. Oh, and the violin playing. A very nice touch, particularly when he played "God save the Queen" ;D The yucky discovery in the fridge cracked me up I love Mrs. Hudson and her "boys", the scene in her kitchen was sweet.

Girls I didn't know it was on,but thanks to you all I watched it yesterday and I have the same feeling I had when I watched the first season. First of all,I still don't know if I like the fact that the episodes aren't as many as in a normal season and they last that long. But I think I like this more than I don't.LOL! Anyway,Benedict was fantastic as always. Those eyes and that light skin, those hair and that voice...Just a perfect aphrodisiac. ;D The story was ok,but to tell you the truth,in this kind of shows I like how the actors manage to make a role interesting and in this case all new, since Sherlock Holmes is a character we all know and somehow we have a very specific image of his in our heads. So I love how THAT Sherlock and THAT Watson are brilliant together in an innovative way. The twist in the end was the last I expected, not because I was bored, but because I was like "come on,what else can happen now?".It turned out the best can happen. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did! Those who haven't seen it yet...oh,please do! ;D Oh,and Happy New Year!I didn't have the chance to send you my wishes! All the best to each one of you!Love you all!

I feel the same about this. It's so well done and original and creative, I love the humour and the cast, so they could probably serve me the crappiest plot in the world and I'd still enjoy the interaction of Sherlock and Watson and all the fun little details. One of my favourite scenes was the one in Buckingham Palace. "Would you please get off my sheet?"
