Well, now you happen to mention goatees, Rueful, THAT is a look that is second only to stubble in my book! It's perfect, isn't it? Allows you to run your fingers over the stubble on the cheek (or smooth skin after a shave) and the hair on the chin.... ...and this kind of talk is not conducive to getting any work done at all....

You make a lovely couple, Anglo. I love Roofie-baby when he is clean shaven BUT therei s something about that pic which makes me want to dip him in melted chocolate and ..... well you know the rest.

I think Rufus gets better looking each year, and in general I prefer pics of "mature" (I'm afraid he'd hate that term) Rufus to baby Rufus. But he looks plenty mature in this one.

I'm sorry, you want to disguise those amazing cheekbones and that adorable dimple with facial hair? No, clean-shven all the way.

I think the beard accents the cheekbones, joycie, but I do concede you have a point on covering up the dimple -- and the scar; however, there is still something about facial hair -- call it my cave man syndrome. funny thing, though, I'm not all that impressed by blonde facial hair. Just dark and silvery grey. Can't imagine why. by the way, how many more days do I have to recruit new beard-loving board members before the poll shuts down?

Oh you can believe that I looked at that picture Rueful, more than once. And I will admit the goatee look is very sexy on him. But there's something about the bone structure of his face that makes me want to look at it unadorned.

But there's something about the bone structure of his face that makes me want to look at it unadorned. Or accentuated by some sexy stubble The beard suits him well, but it makes him look older, and I also prefer to see more of his beautiful face.

I am with Joyce on this one. How about stubble in the am, cleam shaven in the pm. Or vice versa.

It's not as if I think he doesn't look great without facial hair or stubble either. I guess it all comes down to what several members have said....He's always handsome! GE2, this has been a very successful poll! Lots of controversy and discussion. ;D Thanks for putting it together!

You're welcome - it generated rather more discussion than I expected! PS - stubble won! YAY!!!!
