There were no further nominations so I'll announce She Creature as this weeks movie of the week. Let's have another pic.......

Good choice!
I love the prospect of seeing the two of them teamed up again. They made such a handsome couple in She Creature.

So no nominations for this weeks motw!? I had a couple of ideas after watching an epidode of Silent Witness last week with both Juliet Aubrey and Leo Gregory in it. I came up with Middlemarch and Tristan & Isolde. I'm swaying more towards Middlemarch as Uncle Fred in the Springtime also reminded me of the pompous style of talking favoured by 1 or 3 characters . I've also got a long weekend for the Bank Holiday (which means it'll rain) and I'm feeling very self indulgent (for a change ). Any arguments?

Thanks Nell you just made my long weekend bareable. Besides it was the first TV of Roof that I saw - was it really all those years ago.

Great choice! I wanted to re-watch this asap anyway to compare with the book.

I found the book hard work because I read it after the TV series and with all the incredible actors in it were infinitely more believable than the text.

I actually liked the book at least as much as I liked the series, but of course, the faces I saw in my mind's eye were mostly those from the film. Rufus did an excellent job capturing the essence of Will Ladislaw

Next may I nominate Carrington because I feel we all live in a love triangle wth RS as third side to our life, if not the first!

Yes, I thought perhaps if we comment in the original threads for each movie. That way it'll re-open the old threads and keep it all together. I forgot to add - I'll keep a list and cross them off so we don't have any repeats until we've seen everything. I may be mistaken, but I have a feeling that Carrington was already on the list some weeks ago? Since we really have spring now and the gardeners are busy, how about "Gone to Seed" instead?

Oooh, I second 'Gone to Seed', Walt. I've just spent a couple of days gardening, so that is very appropriate.

Awww, "Gone to Seed" is a great choice. I haven't watched that one in over a year.
