Rumantic, i, too, have been away for a few days, but you have been on my mind every day, I realized. you know you and your family have been in my prayers all along and you will certainly stay there. even though i know many miles would separate us even if i were on that side of the atlantic, i regret not being able to 'hug' you from closer by. know that you are loved and treasured and your family is precious to us because they are to you. you've seen the ugly side of people who are mourning. i know you, with your wonderful wit and positive outlook and deep commitment , will show those who are watching this tragedy play out a better and more positive response. please share our love with your stepson and your husband. there will be peace and release, even though i'm sure it doesn't seem so now.

Hello, everyone. Your encouragement thoughts and prayers DO help, because right now it seems there are many people who wish to do us harm.
The news reports have gotten more and more inflamitory, and the police are releasing reports that Brian ran internet searches on how to hurt an infant (the laptop was michelle's. Brian did not always have access to it. She was in a nursing program at school. No idea how they can tell what searches she did and what searches he did as they used the same browser and etc,)
Anyway, now Brian has been moved from the general poplulation at the jail because they are afraid someone may try to hurt him.
So it is a balm for me to come here and know that you all have well wishes for me and mine in your hearts. I am hoping that things will settle down soon, but I suspect that the prosecutor and the police department are trying to smear Brian in the court of public opinion so that when the trial comes it will be hard to find a jury that is not already convinced of his guilt.
Anyway, coming here is a wonderful diversion, and I appreciate you all.

It must be very, very hard now, but the truth will come out. If other people are being ugly to you, then they are not worth your time or thought. Try to stay focused on the love and support of your family and your true friends.
