Nell We have everything with virgin, cable tv , land line , mobiles and broadband. I see Virginmedia everytime I switch on my PC and I still didn't see anything about the poll till it was closed .  My opinion >>> It is a fix  |

Very, very odd. I hate these "contests" that seem to pop up without any notice and then claim to have some validity. I mean honestly, how long was this open, how well publicized??? Without that information the results are meaningless.

If you look it up in google, it seems that there was a poll, which began around the 19th December 2011. Can't find the exact cached page though. I'm not surprised that Doctor Who won awards it always does, but I'm surprised that Merlin was a close second.

Yes a colleague pointed it out to me. He'd seen the poll and Rufus nominated as Best Actor and forgot to mention it . Rest assured he is now doing penance and I am expecting an apple on my desk each morning and late night cover for the next month decade! Given the outcome I'd say Mr Branson only tipped off his Grand Children about the poll! Hence the little girls idols of Dr Who and Merlin getting all the votes. Clearly Zen was way past their bedtime! ;D |
