This might not be the most interesting pic but I know that area so well. It is the STage Door entrance of the National Theatre in London and I've spent many hours there last year. The second pic is in the backstage area of the NT. I did twice a backstage tour and can really recommend this to anyone who is interested in theater and how things work behind the scenes. The NT is huge and it is really impressive.

with one of Rufus' roles for which he wouldn't win the price in best dressed or looking man but still he is endearing in a way as Frank. (my romantic take on this - if he had the right woman, he would turn out in a wonderful guy ;D) My thoughts exactly! I love him in this role, although he looks like he's slept in his clothes for days ;D Those funny faces are simply hilarious. Thanks a lot for this wonderful picture shower

Once again, lovely screencaps - thanks, Zenina! with one of Rufus' roles for which he wouldn't win the price in best <.....> looking man Oh, I disagree about that - he's easily the best looking of the three!

He just needs somebody - the right girl? - to talk him out of this strange coat and those shoes that make his feet look twice as large

I love the screencaps Zenina - but I beg to differ about not being the best looking - he's gorgeous I think he could get away with a pair of wellies and a knotted hankie on his head and he'd still look drop dead gorgeous. The clothes maybe a bit tatty but they're perfect for Frank and Rufus carries it off to perfection as always. I rest my case ;D

I just meant to say compared to some of his other film parts he looks a bit worn out in that one, which doesn't mean that he is still by far the best looking guy of these 3 ;D ;D and some of his puppy dog faces are cute beyond words, and not to forget the curls........ and he snarls so well you are welcome for the pics - as always it is a pleasure making and sharing them

Zenina these screencaps are just great. When I first saw this movie I was a bit disappointed because he was playing the scruffy, unkempt, eccentric one of the three. But now having come to admire and love Rufus as we all do on here and after seeing your wonderful screencaps, I can't wait to watch it again! Some of the faces he pulls in this are just priceless and you have captured some of his wonderful mannerisms. , Thank you, thank you, thank you. BTW love your new green quadruple pics frame. How do you do that? It is really gorgeous.

I loved MMFD&L because Rufus played the scruffy, unkempt, eccentric one. I love his larger than life roles where he can really get his teeth into a part and act his socks off. Of course I also love the soft and gentle roles, totally in control roles, the totally out of control roles, the manipulative roles, the multifaceted roles....... just about every role really. I guess I like enjoy the variety and the way he always brings that little extra to the part he plays.
