There's nothing to be ashamed of GE2. It had the same effect on me too.
Poor little Corky, but what a wonderful outcome.
I hope he lives a long and happy life and thanks to those who gave him that chance.

What a wonderful story - he looks so cute. What a brave little cat. I showed my daughter and she said he could come live with us!
We already have 3 disabled cats living in our house - brother & sister from RSPCA - Molly has 3 legs (she did have 3 and a bit, but the bit was amputated as she tried to walk on it, which didn't help her mobility). Her brother, Monty, has 2 full front legs and half a back leg and less than half a back leg. He has no paws on his back legs.
Then against my husband's wishes I offered a home to another cat from a Cat Rescue Centre. How could I refuse she had 3 legs (apparently she went missing as a kitten and returned with a withered leg, which had to be amputated) and her name is Misty. I thought she would fit right in and she did, but its taken a hell of a long time and guess what hubbie thinks she is lovely now - but I am her favourite ;D
My daughter has taken some nice photos - I'll see if she can post them for me.
Thanks for posting GE2 - hope Corky becomes someone's pampered pet.

They are beautiful cats, Lassie, and I loved reading about them. Thank you. Suddenly the world seem a little softer and kinder than it was before

Just read about Corky, need the tissues. What a brave and brilliant cat. I stopped having cats when I decided I would rather make the garden more relaxed for the birds. But I sure miss having one around.

Aww, what beautiful cats you have, Lassie - and how kind of you to take them on with all their disabilities. I had a deaf cat for four years - didn't know when I got him, and he had other problems anyway, being the runt of the litter and clearly kicked about by his first owners, which I suppose may have actually caused it. His deafness wasn't a problem for him, though. And as we all know, cats are often "selectively deaf" anyway! I'm sure Corky will have people fighting over him - he deserves to be wanted so much. Dove, I feed the birds, but having a cat isn't a problem, she just has lots of bells on her collar and isn't allowed out at dusk and dawn. In fact, they seem to delight in tormenting her, perching and flying only a few feet above her head!

Awww, poor little tiger. I'm glad he was found and his problem taken care of. Hope he'll have a good, long, happy life!
I love your threesome, Lassie. Beautiful cats. Hats off to you for giving those three beauties a home despite their disabilities.
