LOL Rueful . You may well be right! And yep, the watch has to be a big clue surely (a timepiece)? I adore the way (in the clip) that the little boy is clinging to Gabe's leg trying to stop him from leaving. Awwwww.

Thank you for the link and for the lovely pictures!! I would like to sneak into the editing room with a broom and collect the things on the floor. And take the snippets of Rufus's scenes home. They left out the take when we can see Gabe's face at the end of the airport scene. It was in the trailer and it was breathtakingly powerful. Now we have a scene with the camera being only on the eyelevel of the kid, so I understand why they didn't use that angle, but still... I love the style of the beginning, the film is more delicate than the trailer suggested. And I think that Jeremy on the bus gave the cutest 'yes' in film history. "J, do you want a brownie? " "Yes!" Added later: The trailer tells a lot about the story, and this thingy was in it too, well, in a subtle way, so I might overact when I use a spoiler sign, but I think this is the type of film when you can enjoy it more if you are as innocent as possible, so SPOILER!www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OVXUUZWOBcA 50 seconds long clip, called "Experiment". The second part of the Youtube video is about other things, so skip it.

Rue, thanks so, so much for finding the clip and making it available here. I agree, this movie looks great. I hope I get to see it in a theater and not just on DVD. And yes, the watch has to be some kind of clue.
GE2 - thank you for the great screen caps. Rufus looks so good in this movie.

The trailer tells a lot about the story, and this thingy was in it too, well, in a subtle way, so I might overact when I use a spoiler sign, but I think this is the type of film when you can enjoy it more if you are as innocent as possible, so Thanks for the link, Adina. I agree it would be nice not to be as spoiled as I am regarding this film. The filmmakers (or marketing team) have given out a lot of info about the story. As I was watching the first 10 minutes, I wondered what it would have been like to watch it, not already knowing what is going to happen ( SPOILER, if you haven't watched the preview or trailer!-->). It would have been interesting to feel the emotions as a viewer as it starts out with a sweet family scene and then watch GA's growing nervousness as she loses contact with Gabe. Instead, I was already anticipating it, so it lost a little of its power (not anything against GA's acting). Of course, this is always the plight of the modern filmgoer. Even if you don't seek out spoilers, the trailers and ads always give a lot away. I laughed watching that bus scene. Jeremy's excited response about the brownies was very cute. Also, I've experienced many little-boy ramblings about space ships or machines they've built out of legos. I tend to tune out after about the second excited, incomprehensible sentence. I wonder if I've ignored any future physics geniuses? Rufus looks so good in this movie. Amen!

Thanks for the link Rueful and thanks too to GE2 and Nell for telling us in Uk that we can see this if we hang on and for the clips ...Rufus has said about losing looks as he got older. All I can say is :--- Not a chance Mate! That man is so beautiful.
And is the clip worth hanging on for!
I loved that scene with Gabe and Jeremy. The proud teasing tenderness .. I have said it before and I will say it again. Nobody does tender like Roofie
Now... Does anyone know how to download it to keep?

This is looking really, really fantastic, the kind of movie I'd love even if Rufus wasn't in it. Which is not to say the couple of minutes he has aren't absolutely adorable I loved how he added this one last kiss for his wife, to say nothing of his interaction with the little boy! Well spied about the wedding ring, LTM. I wouldn't have realized.

There is a positive review of the film here, but it seems to have many, many spoilers! So instead of posting the whole thing, I just wanted to quote its great line about Rufus: Yep!!

Absolutely! (Isn't it nice if the scientist in a movie isn't a thickset, socially incompetent nerd with ugly glasses for once?)

Yes indeed, Rufus as a handsome scientist, how can we resist? Nothing sexier than a good looking man with a brain. I really can't wait to see this one. I'm with you Kate, even without Rufus it would be interesting. With him it's going to be fantastic.

I agree...great looking man with a brain is super sexy! Yep, as you say Kygal, a great looking man with a brain is super sexy; add a sense of humour and he would be damn near perfect. Can anyone put a name to a man who fills the description? Sorry ! No prizes for a correct answer.

Hi everyone. Haven't stopped by in a while but I still keep an eye on my very favorite actor and his projects, I watched I'll Follow You Down last night (available on my cable network to) and NO SPOILERS, I was disappointed. Although Rufus was great as usual and was on screen way too little, I felt everyone else was phoning it in. The set and props were cheesy. They didn't even try to make the science stuff look real. I really wanted to like it but .....nope.
