Welcome to the Rooftop KQ. You are so lucky having so much Rufus stuff you have not seen and so much new work underway which will be discussed thoroughly, disected, researched and thoroghly analysed so we will all know how to acquire and where and when it is available etc. It is so exciting that there is so much Rufus work in the pipeline and that he is actually working on more wonderful new work at this moment.
My personal all time favourite is Zen and I was so so disappointed as all the members of this board will tell you when the stupid BBC decommissioned a second series. I love him as Aurelio Zen. He is so handsome as shown in PGG's caps on your welcome greeting above. I love all his work though and like most others on here have purchased mostly from Amazon all his work and had to send over to America for some of the region 1 dvds (so had to buy a multi region dvd player)
My other main favourites are TOTS, Charles II, POTE and IASL oh and he is lovely as I think you already know as Lord Marke in T & I.
Look forward to exchanging comments with you and just relax and enjoy taking part in the Rooftop.
Luv Robela ;D

Welcome KQ . You're in good company here. My introduction to Rufus was in the wonderful Zen, his characterisation of Aurelio Zen was an absolute masterpiece in my opinion, and I haven't been the same since. No actor or drama has ever affected me as much as this programme did. As someone else previously pointed out it was axed by the BBC but you will get this on DVD. Have fun catching up on all his previous work, there are some gems there and he has so much new work in the pipeline at the moment. Enjoy. Also you will love the rapport and friendship that you will find on this forum.

Your exactly right KQ, Rufusitus sure does hit hard. On the emotions and on the purse strings. You will also probably find your family think you are a 'madwoman'. Oh but its so nice to indulge yourself and spend some time 'Rufusing'! Its so exciting now that we have so much new Rufus to look forward to seeing and which we can all share our feelings and passion about.

A very warm welcome from me too, KQ! I too am a Brit living in the USA (I'm in SC). When I finally saw the light and Rufusitis set in, I read up on all of Rufus' work and I went nuts on Amazon trying to get my hands on everything I could get. There are a couple of his films I still haven't seen and unfortunately, there are also a couple I am unable to see (due to DVD region settings or the fact that these works are unavailable for purchase ) If you haven't already, also check out Rufus in Amazing Grace. That film is the reason why I'm here! ;D Another must-see in my opinion is A Man of No Importance (although, from what I've seen it's only available on VHS (there is no region-1 DVD for it)). Definitely check out Rufus in Eleventh Hour, too. He is sooooooo good in it, but, just as Joyce said, no matter what film or show Rufus is in and no matter the ratings or what the critics say about them, Rufus ALWAYS shines no matter what. You might find yourself watching certain films of his you would never think to watch otherwise, but anything starring him is worth every penny and every minute of your time. He really is that good. He could play a speck of dust and it would be amazing. I'm excited to hear your thoughts on his work!!
