Had a great time in cinema yesterday saw trailer of ALVK on big screen looks amazing - against main feature Depp's vampire. Alvk wins hands down.

 I saw this and thought, "Perfect!" Then I saw Adina's post.... (((Pleased? Okay, I admit that I'm not good at vampire stuff, but in the last twitter pic I see the facial expression of pity. Like "Oh, poor boy. But I warned you.", or the ironic variant of this.))) I thought, "yes, she's exactly right!" But then when I read what Joyce answered... Not pleased, exactly, more like satisfied. Like Meg said, it must have been some dinner! I thought, "Oh, she has a point too." Normally it is so clear, from the context of whatever scene he's in, exactly what his character is thinking, just from his eyes. He's so expressive, but at the same time, so subtle. So without context, it's easy to read many things into Adam's face here. And how many actors with a blood-covered mouth can you say that about?

I'm starting to see more of Adina's view on it now. I can see a sense of pride in his eyes along with satisfaction and pity. "Yeah, that's right. I bit your neck. I did an amazing job of it too. Teach you to mess with me. Oh, you poor sap. But you were yummy. It was very nice to eat you." ;D All this talk makes me smile when I think of what anyone outside of the Rufian world would think when they saw it: "Does he know he has something on his face?"  |

I hope it does well at the box office. Lots of movies out in June. To be honest, this is a movie I would "normally" wait until it came on one of my cable movie channels to watch. Since Rufus is in it I will go see it. Rufus or not I think it would look appealing to others as well.

I just found these - billed as a couple of new tvspots for ALVH. I think they're new (or parts of them are) to us. www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=2NzU9Pu8WOEI saw the trailer in 3D yesterday. It was much better viewed sitting a few rows back. The cinema was stony silent then a voice just said "  !". It wasn't me But it was the only reaction to any of the trailers. |
