As for the first professional video, I love the expressions on Roof's face at the beginning

Sorry, I'm late to the party, as ever... So, thanks, Pgg for finding the Kapow! link, Rueful, good &funny picture link, Excellent 1st twitter pic, GE2, Ltm, Nell, Lassie - what can I say..  I'm so pleased for you all. To have seen Rufus, spoken to him, touched him, have him sign pictures....words fail me. AND you all had the wit to take photos, videos and remember it all. Thank you so much for sharing it with the rest of us. A lovely picture of you all together . I'm not surprised you all needed a sugar rush after meeting Rufus... I think I would have needed Gin!   Rai - Many American comics/magazines are NOT widely available in the UK. That is why you effectively got a virtual 'blank look' to your comment.  GE2, did you notice the halo of reddish curls towards the back of Rufus' head in some of the pics? And thank-you, everyone who added photos, links, tweets, and info. Joy overload!!! |

As to remembering the whole experience - well yeah I do, but still pinching myself to make sure it's real. I feel like I've had one of those so called 'out of body' experience. It just could not have been me, I was just looking at someone who looked like me!! Poor woman.  As for the sugar rush and alcohol...well don't worry, we all had a stiff drink down the pub with our meal afterwards.....thanks to Helen, mine was a double...BIG  And yes to the reddish curls...  Oh and another thing I noticed was....Rufus turned away a couple of times and he's still got that really cute point of hair at the back - so apparent in Zen. |

I'm late to the party as well, sort of. Well I got an exited text last Saturday while I was exploring Newcastle. "Have met Rufus,  ". So happy for you ladies that you got to meet him and from what I read and heard he was really lovely. Thanks for sharing all the pics, will try to watch the videos tonight - can't do from work. Great stuff, hope to have the chance as well sometime. ;D |

Hehehe, Rai! They could have gone as sparkly vampires!! GE2 - LOL - Just seen your previous post! Nell and I did discuss the costume issue over the phone. I teased her saying I could always wear a (my) vampire coat. ;D She declined the offer...  The worry is that I really did (do) have a vampire coat... Not sure about the sparkly bit though. It's the coat only...man not included....thank goodness. ;D Well you never know, it (the coat) might come in hand one day. As things transpired last weekend, really glad I didn't wear it. I felt a big enough prat as it was...oh, but it was just sooooo worth it. |
