It seems it is, these so called stars just don't have any respect nowadays. They swan around and don't tell anybody anything. Right, I'm going to write Rufus a directive now in no uncertain terms and I'll let you all know how I got on when I get out of prison.

oh help, i'm really confused now! i've just been away for the weekend and i've come back to find that roof's apparently been in Bath AND hampton court, all at the same time in the same suit - and we all thought he was in thailand anyway! then there's this mention of RnR - can anyone put me out of my confused state? (having just spent the weekend with my dementing elderly mother, believe me, the LAST thing i can handle is more confusion!!) thanks for the pics though  |

I can try. I don't think there is any way that picture of Rufus in Bath can possibly be new. I'd guess it to have been taken around 2000 or so. He's an awful lot grayer and his face is thinner and much more interesting these days. I'd be extremely surprised to find it's recent. It smacks of baby Roof to me.
But Rufus was definately at Hampton Court at a fundraiser on Saturday.
He's pretty tanned so he's probably just on a break from Thailand for a bit for some reason or another.
The RnR thing is probably just a mix up in years since the info coencides completely with last year's production of RnR. Be kind of odd for a show to open on Saturday, anyway, especially since Rufus was clearly at Hampton Court that evening-- we have pictures from all the major services to prove that...lol!

I know these "STARS" like to think of themselves as regular people, but, really, is it asking too much to have their every move sent directly to us? Just a little note, text message, phone call........just letting us know that they will be at such and such place at such and such time. Who do they think pays for the tickets to the films and plays? Hello? I guess all stars shouldn't have to do that..........but Rufus, Gerard, the really GREAT ones..........they really should hire someone to report their every move to us. |

okay, I have one last thing to say about this then I'm exiting stage right... ;D To the various and sundry naysayers... Notice the jawline of the man in the picture taken in Bath. It's soft and gentle--the chin flows into the jaw with barely an interruption. It's round and youthful--heavier as Rufus looks at his best. No lines around his eyes or mouth. Notice the lack of gray in the beard. In fact if you're really observant you'll notice that his mouth is fuller and redder in the first picture. As we age we lose pigment in our lips and cheeks. Now notice the jawline of the recent pictures of Rufus. It's tight and angular, the skin is thinner, the chin more pronounced. The lines around his mouth are deeper and his cheekbones are more pronounced because he is working out to judge by his arms and the size of him in some of the recent photos. Take note of the gray in his hair and beard in some of the pictures taken around the holidays when he had his "unemployment beard". It is abundant and before you say well his hair is dark in the pictures of HC remember, he's making a picture and they've likely dyed it. Dying a beard is much more tricky and has to be maintained daily. And to his hair, can you really not see he has much more hair in the Bath photo than he does in anything recent? The difference in the faces is time. Same man with a few more miles and a lot more interest. |
