In the Bath pixxie, is he wearing a winter coat? Could that be a clue?

okay, I have one last thing to say about this then I'm exiting stage right... ;D To the various and sundry naysayers... Notice the jawline of the man in the picture taken in Bath. It's soft and gentle--the chin flows into the jaw with barely an interruption. It's round and youthful--heavier as Rufus looks at his best. No lines around his eyes or mouth. Notice the lack of gray in the beard. In fact if you're really observant you'll notice that his mouth is fuller and redder in the first picture. As we age we lose pigment in our lips and cheeks. Now notice the jawline of the recent pictures of Rufus. It's tight and angular, the skin is thinner, the chin more pronounced. The lines around his mouth are deeper and his cheekbones are more pronounced because he is working out to judge by his arms and the size of him in some of the recent photos. Take note of the gray in his hair and beard in some of the pictures taken around the holidays when he had his "unemployment beard". It is abundant and before you say well his hair is dark in the pictures of HC remember, he's making a picture and they've likely dyed it. Dying a beard is much more tricky and has to be maintained daily. And to his hair, can you really not see he has much more hair in the Bath photo than he does in anything recent? The difference in the faces is time. Same man with a few more miles and a lot more interest. Someone on Michelle's list mentioned that he was in Bath for Macbeth. I guess he does look Macbeth-ish in the pic... Brava Maxx, you are right! You can be deservedly defined Ruf's "secret girlfriend" as to deep knowledge of each nuance of his changing face!

It was my first impression upon reading the blog that the pictures she took and showed her friends have nothing to do with the photo she used on the page, which looks to be professionally taken.
Just my guess.

What are the favorite places in L.A. anyway? I'll be on vacation there in a few weeks with my husband, 19-yr-old daughter and 15-yr-old son.

oops, sorry, I'm bad at this -- I guess this should have been put in something off-topic?

There are so many things I could tell you to do and see here in LA, depending on what you like. Why don't you send me a PM and tell me where you're staying, what kind of things you and your family like to do, then I could give you a better list of suggestions.

I say we ask the photographer and settle this once and for all. I e-mailed him on Tuesday, and he's going to check the date for me when he gets back to work on Thursday!

Well this is my last chance to get my 2 cents worth in before we hear it from the horses mouth, and you all know by now how much I love doing that! I immediately assumed that the Bath pic was an older one too. Probably not terribly old, but not recent either. Ruf, bless his heart, held on to those very youthful looks a long time. I did the same myself, but when I reached 40, some of my livin' caught up to me too. He seems to only improve with age, and is still the only man to ever make me swoon. Shush now, that's just our little secret! ;D

I love that he always looks almost perfect when he's dressed up, except, there is always one part of some piece of his ensemble that is slightly askew. I love that he needs that little bit of tiding up. Does this mean I have some sort of weird clothing straightening fetish?
