This article is about the graphic novel based on the film ( The Art of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter), which I think PGG mentioned on our original ALVH thread. www.mcgeeks.com/aspen-turns-abraham-lincoln-vampire-hunter-storyboards-into-graphic-novel-exclusive-preview/I'm only going to quote a bit of the above article: Bekmambetov considers the comic, officially called The Art of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, to be his director’s cut of the film. Interestingly, the narrative is constructed in such a way that the graphic novel retells the movie’s story from the point of view of its villain, played by Rufus Sewell in the film.Cool, huh?

OMG. Does this mean that I will have to do another thing I'd never thought I'd do and buy a graphic novel of a bloody vampire tale? ;D Interesting find, thanks a lot!

In the old ALVH thread, I posted links to a graphic novel on shocktilyoudrop. For completeness, here is a link to part 3 of the comic, "Plantation Ballroom." If you go through the whole thing it shows a video, but it's the same fight video that we've seen, Abe against 20 fighters. www.shocktillyoudrop.com/tags/abraham-lincoln-vampire-hunter

I've never bought a graphic novel either, but if Rufus is in it, it might be a first time! The things we do because of him...

I wasn't sure if this deserved its own thread or not. I'm just about to go to bed, but had to post this. The ALVH soundtrack is on youtube. #9: Adam - youtu.be/006JLOJ66zE ;D ;D ;D To be honest, I paid zero attention to the music when I saw ALVH. Oddly enough, the first thing my friend said after we saw it was that she would download the soundtrack as soon as it was available. I stood there for a second and thought "what soundtrack? There was music? When?" (when one has a Rufus to listen to and watch and anticipate for, one loses sense of everything else...as you all very well know). Now that I've heard the music, I think it's excellent!

Good find, Meg! Adam's track was eerie and majestic and creepy and just a bit sad. Which, I think, matches Rufus' portrayal of Adam very well.

I liked the sound track and the special FX work. None of it too heavy
