Same here. But can you still not open the link or see the clip then? It's a short clip, with short comments. Films featured in the episode they are (or he could be) talking about are: Four Weddings and a Funeral, Black Narcissus, The Red Shoes, Brief Encounter, Women in Love, Love Actually, Bridget Jones, Goodbye Mr Chips, Darling, Alfie, Educating Rita, Shirley Valentine, Nine Songs, Victim, The Servant, The Stud and Gregory's Girl. Which one is the most visually striking?

I'm sure it's one of the Powell and Pressberger films. Perhaps "I Know Where I'm Going"? Rufus chose one of P&P's films as one of his favorites so he's clearly a fan. Someone actually was speaking about "A Matter of Life and Death" which Rufus has said is a fav. I recognized it by a description they gave...
perhaps it was The Red Shoes...

Same here. But can you still not open the link or see the clip then? No, I can't open it. It keeps closing. They are trying to keep us from watching videos at work, so I wouldn't be surprised if that is why. LOL.Oh, Black Narcissus is considered one of the most visually striking movies ever made, then probably the Red Shoes would not be far behind, but those might not be the ones Ruf was talking about. But I see that I can't read and that you said several emails back that it was Tom Jones Ruf was talking about. That's a visually striking film too. Yeah, I'm happy to see that other Brit actors (along with Ruf) has superb taste in films. (Disclosure announcement: I am a huge, HUGE, Powell & Pressburger fan, so my opinion comes with extreme prejudice in their favor!)

BTW, I *finally* got the clip going and there is no possible way to tell which movie Ruf was talking about. But it was nice to hear some of the others actors say nice things about my favs though. (couldn't always tell who they were b/c I couldn't make full screen w/out it shutting down.)

I'm sure now that he is in several episodes. He was in the Costume Drama one and obviously in the Romantic one too.
