We've been married for ages, we were together for a long time before we married, and we have 3 adult children and a granddaughter. He knows he doesn't have anything to worry about. In fact, he thinks it's cool that I know Rufus and have had some quality time with him. Ginny, I've got dummy questions for I'm confused on two things. Britfan had congratulated you on your 25th birthday. But how could that be if you're married such a long time, have 3 adult children and an granddaughter? And moreover: How can it be that apparently all of you (Minx, Ginny, Uke...) know Rufus personally? Please tell us more!!! It's an huge honour and privilege for me being allowed to exchange thoughts with you all at this board.

Britfan was just kidding. We met up in London last November and she knows I'm not 25! ;D I do know Rufus - first met him in 1999 and we've become friends. I met Mink and Uke at the 24 Hour Plays in June of 2005 and we three had a lovely chat with him at the party afterward. They're both great and it was wonderful meeting them. They can elaborate if they want to. Somewhere in an earlier post about Rock 'n' Roll I told this group about my last meeting with Rufus. gxo

I don't really know Rufus personally, I met him with Ginny and Minx and then I happened to run into him twice purely by chance (which, I suspect, is why he would remember me at all) and then this year RnR was on so I saw him at the stage door. But I don't know him any better than any of the girls who would have met him at the stage door.

Ah, but you do know him! You have met him! You have spoken to him! That's something amazing! Many of us have never done any of that! So count yourself among the lucky, Uke!

Well, I do think there is a difference between knowing someone and having met someone, especially when it comes to celebs.

In my opinion too, there is a difference between meeting and knowing as well as between having a conversation or a friendship. That was why I was a bit confused as I said, barring the fact that I'm deeply impressed of the fact that he seems not to be that reserved towards his fans than I would have expected from a wellknown actor. Makes him double as adorable. I'm so happy for you, especially the persons who are in constant contact with him. Lucky you!!!

LMBO! At least you said actual words! Most likely I would have just stared and giggled, without using one syllable that would be recognizable! I'm sure he would feel quite sorry for me!
