THANK YOU ALL FOR THIS WONDERFUL WELCOME!! Very heart-warming and thoughtful! You are all very, very lovely! Sorry for not being here earlier! Haven't been around much yet (I have one big paper to finish for Uni due friday) but I'm looking forward to explore more of Rufus work and come back to discuss it here of course! I'm particularly eager to watch the Shakespeare Re-Told take on "The Taming of the Shrew" (I'm a BIG Shakespeare geek, so I'm rather excited) and I confess I'm very intrigued about the mini-series about Charles II and "Middlemarch". I still have a long way to go, so it's a bit early to call favourites, but I have a soft spot for Crown Prince Leopold (adina, that's a LOVELY pic!) and for William in the "Père-Lachaise" segment from "Paris, Je t'aime". Also, I suspect I'll fall in love with his Septimus (I recently finished reading Tom Stoppard's "Arcadia" and I'm a total emotional wreck because it was so heartbreakingly beautiful!). When I read that Rufus had been in the original cast, there was no chance of picturing him any different. It's too late I think for a revival but, oh, I would have loved to see him perform this role on stage! Again, thank you all for your overwhelming kindness!!! I hope to be back soon and gush over this fantastic man as eloquently as I can

"Arcadia" is such a wonderful play. I read it a few months ago and was absolutely ravished (and I really regret not having seen this on stage). We have some lovely Arcadia photos in the Works section - if you haven't seen them, go and take a look, they are Have lots of fun discovering more of the Rufus universe, and don't hesitate to give your opinion on the respective threads if you want to! If you haven't watched them yet, I also strongly recommend "Illuminata", "The Woodlanders" and my personal favourite, "In a Savage Land"

Lucia, my introduction to Rufus was in the TV series Zen. Gorgeous doesn't even begin to describe the wonderful Italian detective Aurelio Zen and it is a brilliant 3/part drama. Also The Pillars Of The Earth comes highly recommended.
