I don't know whether anyone has caught this 3 part BBC production. Starring the wonderful Sir Derek Jacobi and the equally wonderful Anne Reid, it is the story of two elderly people who re-meet after more than fifty years and fall in love again. With a fantastic screen play by Sally Wainwright ( TOTS) the two stars supported by a tremendous cast, took this and made me laugh and cry . The acting of everyone was superb and the last scene even made M(o)B cry. To our American girls , if you have to opportunity to see this, don't let it pass you by.
If not wait for the DVD and get that.
You won't regret it.

I had this recommended to me and I caught up on 3 episodes last week. I think it's a five-parter Frannie as I'm sure I've still got 2 episodes to go. Unlike Frannie didn't manage to convince hubby to watch though. He just pulled a face.......... I loved the line "What's a crapuccino?"

Nell. I have checked now. There were four . Three weekly and the fourth following the next day. The presenter, afterwards, promised further episodes sometime in the New Year
