^He does have great skin. I am jealous! I have some pores the size of the grand canyon, and I'm a decade younger than him.

Watched "Victory" again last night and couldn't help but notice (again) how beautiful his hands are, too. You get a great look at them when Martin is taking off her shoes and kissing her legs. Would make a great cap/avatar-whatever you call it, if I knew how to make one--esp with his nose and curly hair in the picture (there's an artsy contrast between her very white legs and his dark hands, hair and neck). There is nothing but lovely on that man. Ok, I best stop before go over every single inch.

Don't stop on my account, I'm enjoying the vivid image! You do have a very creative eye rufluvr! I keep promising myself that I'm going to learn to do just that sort of thing......one of these days! (I mean making the cap. I don't really think you can learn to have creative instinct.)

I should have a creative eye, as I come from a family with artists! With some o'those genes rubbing off a bit on me. I myself have only dabbled assemblage and photography (and every time one Aunt sees my pics she hounds me to take it more seriously) My brother and a sister are professional (degreed) artists. Are shameless plugs allowed around here? You can check out my bro Richard's work at lisaharrisgallery.com and richardhutter.com I only ask that if you care to comment, please be nice, or never mind. As his sister Patty, I only want love sent his way--'kay?

mmm, I love Caliph. The harmony of tone, colour and movement are something I find very appealing. I am also quite keen on the Japanese influence in this particular piece. thank you for sharing.

Caliph is a nice one, isn't it? I love Asian and Asian influenced art pieces too. Chinese Vase was in his solo show at the Circa Gallery in Mpls. that I went to March of 2006. It has been really fun for me to watch his work evolve over the years. There was an early, very pop one called "Falling Go-Go Girl" that I love which I was reminded of when the movie "Factory Girl" came out. I have a couple of his (older) pieces that I bought when he was in college and wish I could afford more current ones, not only because I love his work, but to be supportive of him. My brother has joked that even he can't afford his own art. He was very generous and gave each immediate family member one nice paper piece one Christmas. He is not only a good artist but a good person, I am happy to have as a brother.
