Oh yes Judy. I agree!
Did hate all the commercials, but they did give me a chance to go to the bathroom, get a drink, rest my eyes that were glued to the tv. Like I said, cant wait for everyone to see it so we can really talk about it.

Hi all, I enjoyed Restless, but I agree with Judy - I'm an HD snob & hate to watch anything that isn't. I was able to adjust my TV so the picture fit the whole screen and didn't stretch it out & look distorted. Bigger Rufus but still not as clear as one would like. ;D Luckily I DVR'd it to fast-forward through the ads that became more & more frequent (it seemed) as the drama progressed. I'm glad I read the book or I think I would have been a bit confused with what was going on. One of my favorite parts of the book was the department store scene and I wouldn't have known what she was doing if I hadn't read it. But that could just be me. Did anyone of you who saw Rock 'n Roll recognize Anthony Calf (Jan's interrogator) as the head of Spy Academy? Or as I like to refer to him, "Colonel Fitzwilliam" from P&P. Rai

Rai When I see Restless I will look out for him, but I remember him in Rock 'n' Roll. I got his autograph and when I asked him to sign, he had his young daughters (?) with him and I remember them sniggering about the fact that anyone should want his autograph!

There is nothing like children for keeping your feet on the ground. BTW Anthony Calf is a cast member of the long running BBC series "New Tricks" He also manages to get a part in any decent TV play.

Yeah, I saw that on my screen, Friday night. Also DVR'd it - so I have watched it since, several times. Only his parts, though. Not that the other parts weren't very interesting. I just only have so much time. Thank you lovethemanrs and PGG for the screencaps. That was very bold of you. I thought you guys didn't want any spoilers so I didn't say anything. He was magnificent in Restless. It was very satisfying. And they haven't left any of his scenes out, so far, thank goodness. I was worried that they would. I agree with Rai - if I had not read the book, I would have been a little confused. They did leave a lot of the training out. Can't wait for next week, but it can't be any better than this one. Can it? I guess it maybe could. Oh, boy. Pretty steamy stuff in spots. You guys will love it.

LOL GE2. It was hard. I was trying to be calm and cool until the rest of you get to enjoy Restless. Not easy to do.
I do think reading the book helped because so much is not on screen. Some of you may want to read it after you see the tv version.
