Thanks, Mike, for the heads-up. I had already picked up a copy of 'The Lady'. Useful size for signing, if I ever get to see Rufus!

Anyone in London on the 7th? www.oldtimestheplay.com/news/join-us-on-the-7th-february-at-the-stage-door/" During the course of the run, Kristin Scott Thomas and Lia Williams will not only be alternating the roles of Kate and Anna, but on certain performances their roles for that evening will be decided by a coin toss on the night. The first performance that will be decided in this way is on the 7th February. At 5.45pm, Kristin and Lia will be watching Rufus Sewell toss the coin at the Stage Door of the Harold Pinter theatre, to determine which characters they will be playing that evening. If you would like to be involved and watch, come down and see this at the Stage Door on the 7th February!"

I really enjoyed this video (7.25 min. only of rehearsals), but, this is all I'll get to see. Those of you that do get to see the play, might not want to see this. Hope all of you guys have fun. Take lots of pics - so we can live vicariously. Thank you Ophelia for the pics of the theater. Fun to see where you all are going to be hanging out. It's exciting just knowing where Rufus is practicing. I'm sure I would be buying tickets for several performances, if I could. Completely envious over here!!! from OLD TIME (1970) by Harold Pinter: Alan Rickman - Lindsay Duncan - Gina McKee . www.youtube.com/watch?v=fyXW3e-WI5YI finally got round to watching this, not wanting to see it before attending the play. Very interesting to see how differently this was played, compared to the current production. I have to say, much as I like Alan Rickman, his delivery here is rather flat. He probably suffers by comparison to Rufus's more animated performance (bias has nothing to do with it, of course! ), but he just seems bored. Gina McKee, as Kate, comes across as rather gauche, and it's only Lindsay Duncan (an actress I would love to see work with Rufus) who hits the spot, in my opinion. I'd much rather have Rufus's version, though! ;D

Is Old Times going to New York???!!! ALSO: A veritable Easter parade of closings between April 4 and April 6: The Captain of Kopenick at the National, Iain Glen in Longing at the Hampstead, Rupert Everett in The Judas Kiss at the Duke of York’s; and Rufus Sewell, Lia Williams and Kristin Scott Thomas in Old Times at the Harold Pinter. (Rumors has it that Pinter’s ever-elusive memory play may resurface at New York City’s BAM.) www.broadway.com/buzz/168336/west-end-premiere-of-once-and-a-starry-othello-spark-a-lively-london-datebook/(BAM = Brooklyn Academy of Music)

Broadway.com gave no source for the rumours, and I haven't been able to find even a whisper elsewhere, but wouldn't it be great? Only with Rufus, of course - not interested unless he can do it.
