(I'm just glad they won't be deciding on the leading man by toss of a coin! ;D ) Why? The two female characters are a sort of game with the different aspects of personality, I think it would be a good surprise for the audience: Which facets of Rufus's acting can we get this evening? Oh, this evening 'serene and remote' - yay. This evening 'expressive and extravagant' - yay. And they might run to buy a new ticket to see the "other Rufus". And if I remember well the maths in school - it might never happen. Oh ah, yes, I see now what you meant, Kissmekate. ;D

Don't remember anything darkly erotic about previous productions of this play myself. Jeremy Northam and co. performed the whole play behind a thin screen at the Donmar ! Nell, the play is about 2 hours long and they don't often have an interval for two hour plays, so be prepared ! Ha! Ha! One good thing I do remember Jeremy singing in the play, so I hope Roof will sing a few lines too.

I was considering taking a bourdaloue and resitricting myself to 1 espresso before the show I read a brief synopsis and I see where the darkly erotic bit comes in. It's a bit of a spoiler so don't click on the link those that don't wish to know en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Times

And record it secretly, KMK? That would be perfect! Are you going to see the play, by the way?

And record it secretly, KMK? That would be perfect! Don't give me ideas! ;D I hope I will manage to come over to see it. Chances aren't bad if they stick with the timeline, which would mean that work won't interfere with a few days off

Olivier Award winner Kristin Scott Thomas and Tony Award nominee Lia Williams are set to join Rufus Sewell in the upcoming West End revival of Harold Pinter's OLD TIMES " [/quote] Interesting that one of Rufus's leading ladies is Lia Williams who worked with him very early on in their careers >> Dirty Weekend
He played a stalker and she murdered him.

SO EXCITED FOR THIS PLAY!!!! A little disappointed, as this is postponing my trip to England by 2 months, But SO WORTH IT to see Rufus perform live! My friends think i'm crazy when they found out why i changed my plans.
