Are you used to seeing and talking to Rufus yet, or does it still feel like a dream? No Lassie, don't think that will ever happen, it's very much a dream-like state! As per your comment last May....'Did that really happen, was I really there?' I have often thought that there must be some reason why I have lived near London most of my life! Now I think I know and it's been so worth the wait. ;D |

Finally back at home today after an amazing, adorable, incredible, unforgettable weekend. Well, I wasn't sure, Mr. PGG and I were able to fly to London last Friday, because of the strike at Hamburg Airport and the snow chaos I was really afraid, but finally.... Everything worked with meeting up old friends  on Friday and Saturday - we had a perfect weekend with the highlights of seeing Old Times twice. Yes, I can confirm the words of LTM ... so I do not repeat them again ... I must say, the book is "boring" and YES, forget to be biased and not to be objective as a fan of Rufus - Rufus stole the show in both times - JUST brilliant for 100%. Both shows were different, but brilliant.  I can't wait to see it again... After the show on Friday Rufus came out after a while and I stood close to the stage door and so to him and he' signed whatever he could - I was the last one with the pic of us which took in Los Angeles. I had a little small talk to him and gave him my gift (wrapped in blue - you can see on the pic) Next on Saturday - after the show - with an old friend for me and new friend for LTM  - Everyone talked to Rufus and he talked to everyone - what a lovely mess. I was really surprised as he saw me and said: Thank you so much again for the lovely gift yesterday" ... my face was   Mr PGG told him, "We've met you before in LA" and Rufus said, Yes, I do remember...   Ah I forgot... this time I asked for a signature on my calendar of Rufus.. he signed it with name ... and asked: "What is this?" and begun to browse the calendar and said... "Oh my God, that's lovely" and wrote something more on the calendar It was very lovely to see again, how patient he was again, although the car waited for him... on Friday he walked away...   |

Lovely photos PGG and so pleased you had such a wonderful trip to London. ;D And just for the record.....Zip....you have 5 minutes!!  OK...I'm backtracking a bit here....this picture was taken on the first night (Jan 12th).  Now you understand why I am usually behind the camera!!!! Rufus was joking that the photos were a £1 per shot!! Inflation must be rife in the UK....he quoted someone £10 a shot over the weekend just gone. He's such a fun guy, despite all the indignities he must endure. |

Modified:-- I have had a second look at your last lot of pics PGG. If you look at the middle two pics... look at those eyelashes  It really isn't fair that a man should have eyelashes that long. |

I have had a second look at your last lot of pics PGG. If you look at the middle two pics... look at those eyelashes It really isn't fair that a man should have eyelashes that long. LOL....I thought exactly the same thing when I saw those two pictures. |
